First, I still encourage you to stop with the petty name-calling. Whether you intended for it to be like this or not, it looks like you are getting defensive and resorting to name-calling at the expense of your argument. Also, we need to re-establish what is being argued here. You have been on the stance that warriors are becoming more popularly used as a DPS class due to the removal of tanking from LFD and the lancer being more preferred in hardmodes. I don't have data to support the hardmodes thing, but I can completely agree with this. I see nothing wrong with this portion of your argument.

I have been re-iterating that warriors are a DPS/Tank hybrid. Pretty much statement of fact given their class page on the EME website.

What we should be arguing right now is where you have begun to state that warriors are primarily DPS. This I cannot agree on. Not only has the warrior class always been advertised as being the "second tank in TERA", but the following quote from the director of BHS clearly states that warrior tanking is still very much in the eyes of BHS and they are looking for ways to improve it. (Note I am not saying here that warriors are tanks and not a hybrid class. They are a hybrid class).

"Inven: Warriors as tanks is still a hot topic among the community, how does the newly introduced Stack System affect their tanking abilities?

Lee: According to the feedback we received so far Warriors are capable of maintaining a tanking role but their aggro abilities are somewhat hard to control. With the new update we intend to lower that difficulty so that Warriors can further play a tanking role. We are also considering to introduce a 'Parry' skill which has been requested by players many times.

Additionally, the new Stack System should also help them secure a spot in parties.

While Lancers are seen as traditional tankers, we think that Warriors will have a new, fun way of tanking. PvP will be also a lot more interesting and fun with the new system."

Clearly the bolded section did not exactly happen as planned, based on your supposed observation of KTERA, but this does not mean that BHS intends for warriors to be a DPS class.



Now, I think instead of going around spouting that warriors are the third melee DPS class, I think the best description of warriors is the following:

Warriors are an Evasion Tank and Sustained DPS hybrid class but due to the difficulty of warrior tanking, DPS warriors seem to be more common.

In the end, I think it's fair to agree to disagree. I think warriors are currently DPS first, tanks second. As I stated before, there is no evidence that says otherwise.
