EME tells BHS what needs to happen to deliver the successful game to NA audiences. Clearly you people don't know the relationship between a publisher and a developer. Again if BHS where to call all shots there is no need for EME. Unfortunately EME exists and that fact alone proves you people otherwise. Some of you are clueless.

Area is done responding to you because YES. NCsoft can and does call the shots on that game.
As a developer, Arena net is the developer NCsoft owns the IP to their game they answer to NCsoft. This is my last response to you. I realize your only interested in this change for your own selfish reasons and are not interested in enhancing the game or balance for the good of the game. You basically just shot your self in the foot making it painfully apparent.

No, there wasn't anything specific. It was in the patch notes translated by Steparu or somebody. Paraphrasing: "in part two of QoA patch warriors will be reborn as a DPS class/in a DPS role" or something very similar to that.


Really?? YAY too bad it took 6 pages of people flaming me for wanting comparable DPS to find out though. Hopefully they make us middle of the road with the potential to be top since the game is supposed to be skill based. Do you know if it was from the actual patch notes or the preview

BS GW and GW2 are Anet properties. Arena Net was formed to create and develop GW and GW2. If it wasn't NcSoft it would be ubisfot or one of the many other publishers. Also everyone has said thats replied on the matter has said that EME is JUST THE PUBLISHER. We've also said that the only power EME has is to suggest changes that will make the game for successful in the western market. Aside from westernizing the content(even then they have to get BH to do it) they have NO, ZERO, NADA, NONE, other words for no power to create or distribute content can you please learn to read?

It could've been in one of the earlier posts they made describing the QoA updates. I vaguely remember the timeline being near when part one was being delayed. But I'm absolutely certain that was said. And there seems little room for mistranslation.

Second, publishers do not always finance the developer. Especially when you're just the publisher for a secondary market. No EME has no power over BHS. BHS. Owns. EME. EME works for BHS. BHS can shut down EME tomorrow if they wanted to. I'm sure BHS considers EME's recommendations, becuase that's the reason EME was formed in the first place. But EME can't dictate changes to BHS.


I didn't realize my pay check came from the money tree out back of my studio. Of course publishers finance developers lol. It is unclear what financial situation EME and BHS have. Just so you know EME has its own dev team. EME works for BHS? Why are they completely different company, why not just call them selves BHS. Your getting into some serious politics that are not open to the public and I'm sorry but for someone with zero industry experience your speculation is pretty much worthless to me.

well unless you want to divulge what publisher you work for and your experience in the industry your speculation is completely worthless to me because tbh you just sound like a kid on the internet trying to sound smart. in fact i now work in industry so you should listen to me.

Also if you really do work in the industry. all of your experience and knowledge goes out the window because EME was created for the sole purpose of distributing this already complete game to the west. Because of that fact they don;t have a normal relationship

Is there an official article/statement somewhere stating that warriors were moving towards a permanent dps role in Queen of Argon Part 2? I remember reading somewhere that they were actually going to strengthen its tanking role in the future.

PS: It be pretty bogus if they did decide to change warriors to dps, that'd go against the whooole selling point they've been making that they have a class with a unique tanking style that makes use of their action combat.
