I dont really understand how poeple can even say playing an elin is the same as being a pedo. In fact all the poeple that are screaming about elins and censoring was a good thing are the ones that should be seeing a shrink because they are the ones that need help. I mean I play a elin because they are small and cute but I dont think of it as anything more than that. All these poeple that are complaining that elins needed to be censored and its a good thing arent looking at fictional game character and saying o thats cute. They are looking at a fictional game character and thinking that little girl is showing her panties! Clearly your the one that needs to be kept away from the children. To think you can sexualize a little girl in a video game to the point that you feel affended if they dont cover her up shows you have issues. I mean if you go as a chaperone with little kids like elementry school age to the beach do you say omg they are wearing bikinis they must cover themselves up its going to arrouse me! Or do you see a bunch of cute children going to the beach? Elins are just cute characters the fact that people feel the need to sexualize them and then force the censorship is the real issues. Those are the poeple you need to be worried about.

Probably not going to get a response (rarely do), but It's amazing that gamers, perhaps the most knowledgeable in this area cannot understand the difference between reality and the virtual world. Every time you go to say "you want elin uncensored cause your a pedo" try thinking of a game you like, for wide-scale appeal lets use call of duty.

you like call of duty right? you think the game play is fun, does that mean you want to be a soldier?, you thought the airport level was well made and emotionally evocative, does that mean you want to slaughter innocent people? you enjoy playing zombies, does that mean you want to personally handle a full scale zombie invasion in which you inevitably die?

No. You don't want to do any of those things (you may want to be a soldier, no hate), but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy them in a virtual context.

So no, I'm not a pedophile, but yes I do want scantily-clad 5 ft. women in my game, and more importantly I don't want them removed because of some pathetic notion that the western audience can't handle it made even more egregious by the lackluster quality of said remake.

Finally... where have most of you with common sense been all this time while the ones without common sense screams "Pedo" and caused the change? A little bit too late guys and gals.....

Cant beleve people still beleve this was a mod. That is the BS EME supplied the US community, even EME gets things wrong now and then .. just look at their track record with their ticketed questions. Some of the EME staff didnt even know what was changed with the character hitboxes.

back to the orignal point.

Areola's were in the original Korean client , right back when it was first released.
They were removed shortly there after for the japanese client, The Korean client then used the same modification. However the 'original' skins for the models that include the Areola's r still available online.

These are not player mods. Why?, becouse only Bluehole has the programs to repack a gpk file. The Areola skins r inside a gpk file.. thus a player could not have possible edited said skins.

Say im wrong if you like, but you best provide a link to a program that can repack a gpk file. (i know Umodel can unpack, but it cannot repack)

Also u can also check this by downloading the original korena beta client, and open said gpk file with umodel and see that the areola's r there.


Point of all this is, yes US and EU clients have censored stuff:
EU more than US(blood),
US more than JP/KR(nipples and armor changes).

Then ontop of that you have the horrible Voice acting, they may be Hollywood, but they still dont 'match' the characters they voice. And the scripts..they r a bit ...'corny'. Though since i dont understand korean i cant say if thats a translation or a edit.
I know the Japanese version dont say the same as the English, i speak a bit of japanese and can tell (althogh not 100% understand) that the scripts r slightly different.

Asked my friend who lives in Korea. He has heard no such thing seeing as how Korea's main reason for the playerbase it has is fanservice.
