I dont really understand how poeple can even say playing an elin is the same as being a pedo. In fact all the poeple that are screaming about elins and censoring was a good thing are the ones that should be seeing a shrink because they are the ones that need help. I mean I play a elin because they are small and cute but I dont think of it as anything more than that. All these poeple that are complaining that elins needed to be censored and its a good thing arent looking a fictional game character and saying o thats cute. They are looking at a fictional game character and thinking that little girl is showing her panties! Clearly your the one that needs to be kept away from the children. To think they you can sexualize a little girl in a video game to the point that you feel affended if they dont cover her up shows you have issues. I mean if you go as a chaperone with little kids like elementry school age to the beach do you say omg they are wereing bikinis they must cover themselves up its going to arrouse me! Or do you see a bunch of cute children going to the beach? Elins are just cute characters the fact that people feel the need to sexualize them and then force the censorship is the real issues. Those are the poeple you need to be worried about.
Do you think its ok for a little girl to wear a bikini at the super market, school, the movies, while walking to a friends place? There is a time and place for everything, a bikini at the beach or pool party is fine. At the corner store? not as fine (this applies to both adult women and children)
Personally i don't care, if you wanna play en elin go for it. I won't even call you a pedo, people have different taste. However you have to realize why they would do this for the NA version, they don't want their game to get bad press because they have what appears to be little girls running around scantily clad.
I was only using that as an example. The same could be said if they were wearing any clothing poeple find offensive. I mean a little girl in tight fitting jeans, or tank tops that expose there belly or a short skirt that they wore to the store whatever the clothing is if you think just because they are wearing that and suddenly you are finding yourself getting aroused then the problem isnt the clothing its yourself. Im not targeting you personally or anything im just pointing out that I used an easy example so it could be applied to children poeple probably have seen before. People that look at children and think what they are wearing is offensive because its sexualizing them are poeple you should be concerned about because a normal person wouldnt look at a child like that. I understand why they changed the characters and im not arguing against that because poeple have issues that arent going to be changed in one video game. I just hope in the future they make improvements to the way they handle the censoring so poeple dont feel like one version of the game has better looking armor.

Example: imho a 700lb man has no business walking around in short-shorts with his shirt off. I find it to be an inappropriate choice of clothing, however i am in no way shape or form turned on by it.
Elin are fine, I am more worried about the chat filter. I mean can anyone tell me why the words "Look like" are blurred out ? Or if you type a sentence with the words dot com next to each other, the ENTIRE sentence is blurred out ?
The game is rated M guys, seriously, give us the option of removing the chat filter.

there is a difference between offense and inappropriateness. I am not offended by a child in a bikini, however i do find it to be inappropriate clothing for school.
I've played a version that wasn't censored and it isn't that noticeable of a difference. It just seriously annoys me when they do things like censorship period.
There is an obvious solution to this, I am really surprised no one has mentioned it. You censor the elin by default however allow for an option to uncensored them.

Patience is a virtue most people lack. Especially gamers. Sometimes crusading leaves undesired collateral damage. Wonder what the gothic stockings would have looked like.
I just think they did armor re-models shoddy. It looks silly now compared to korean armor (For Elin mages, for example) Omg because showing belly button is a sin? :/ they couldve been abit more creative then filling in the skin sections with the main texture from the outfit.
