But this is -wrong-.
What has led to people sitting in cities is that there is no real -reason- to do anything out in the world. Getting dragged out into the world by force just to run/fast travel/etc to a dungeon isn't being 'out in the world' any more than running to the corner convenience store is 'going out on the town'.
The problem is that the games that presently use an LFG don't have anything to really do out in the world proper. There isn't any -reason- to go out there. And for those concerned that 'world pvp' will vanish -- it may, but that won't be the tool's fault. The LFG cannot prevent someone from initiating pvp or enjoying pvp. A queue does not force you to do -anything-. It is merely a tool. You can, after all, go out and do -anything- while in a queue. It's simply a -number- in a virtual line.
Honestly I'd prefer if teleportation wasn't a feature. It's convenient, I won't deny that, but it's led to so many people sitting in cities because they never have to leave... and then complaining about sitting in cities.
