This is the order I strongly feel you should be using in Open Beta..

First pick on `good, properly spelled, preferred names` should absolutely be something that your paying customers are entitled to. I'm not just talking about pre-order 1 name reservation. I'm talking about after launch, when all of those names are tied up and unavailable on accounts that nobody is returning to...

The number of `good names` that will be tied by non-returning players during an public open beta is quite plentiful... it strikes me as quite unfair to your paying customers for you to leave those names claimed for a single day after open beta ends.

You've previously stated that ""-We will take a look at the open beta inactive accounts a few months after launch and decide if we need to reset their names. We have the tools to do this in place already.""

I would like EME to revise that stance to clear the characters on non-paying accounts immediately after Open Beta so your founders/supporters are properly taken care of without needless delays. As you've said, you already have the tools in place.

The progress that any of these OBT accounts could make in that small period of time is negligible compared to taking proper care of your present and paying customers.

It was already stated they will keep those characters few weeks after OB to give a chance for people to rethink their decision. I believe it was Knoxxer answering my question in other topic, check his post history.

Compared to most other games Ive played I would say that EME's decision to clear those names in a matter of a few months is awesome.
