Hello! Please take the time to look at these, En Masse. We love the game but here's some additional things we'd like fixed!

-the need to have shared group completion-

for example, in the dungeons (the scarlet manor, the Secret Base) The end resulting quests are achieved by some group members, but not others. I’m thinking of blowing up the dementalith at the end of SM in particular- it is frustrating if one person gets credit, but the rest is not shared among the group.

- a big one: on the suppression orders, it seems very random and haphazard in application. Especially if you are in a group, if you go to kill the monsters you need, only one person gets credit at a time, making you have to kill double the number you actually need! And you only get credit for every 2-4 kills, making getting cathernack (or whatever) medals (a vital resource for guilds, often needed in the hundreds) a boring, tedious grind to get, far more than is needed. You encourage group play, so why punish players for going out and working together in this?

- a note on guilds-

I understand that guilds have multiple levels. But this two week window for guild levels is ridiculous. I understand that you need incentive for players to get out there and work in the game to have a “nice” or decent guild.(hence lengthening the amount of time spent in game). After all, we don’t just want every guild to have a guild house! Right? But the problem is this- in order to have access to the political system, a guild house, guild mounts, all the perks that are being heavily advertised as selling points, you have to have certain guild levels, that rise exponentially in price as the ranks to go up.

Every two weeks, if you don’t upgrade your guild level, or pay the same amount of medals to obtain a two week extension, you lose all your guild levels. This mean a couple things. It unfortunately shuts a lot of smaller guilds out of the picture, because to run for vanarch, have a guild house, to really enjoy any of the perks of the guild system, you’d have to join a bigger guild, or obsessively grind medals (a tedious process, as already described). This unfortunately means a lot of folks will never get to experience the fun of being their own guild, and destroys the concept of small, tightly knit guilds the game almost seems to encourage, making you just a faceless member among a sea of medal harvesters.

Conversely, if you try and harvest the medals in a small guild setting, more and more of your play time is devoted to maintaining your rank, to the point you have no time to actually play the game!

How can this be fixed? Well, one way is to make guild ranks permanent, and to make the guild houses instanced, so that everyone can have one! A more moderate compromise would be to extend the time between resets to a month, in order to make more time for smaller guilds to compete!

- More permissions in the guild would definitely be beneficial

Additionally, some bugs or miscellaneous:

Guilds--
Permissions failing to work. GMTOD does not work really in general most of the time, and officers' permissions also just don't follow through.

Walk function (Yeah, RPer here.) -- has been brought to the attention in other threads but want to voice this on my end, as well.

Lack of /em feature -- I don't know if this is my own ignorance/lack of discovery but creating your own text-based emotes would be nice but not high priority if it existed.

Make boss drops more in-line with class present in the group. Yes, they're not bind of pickup and you could trade/sell the item, as well. I'd say keep this feature in but if that existed, I would not be opposed to its implementation.

Dyes/Inks -- Preview feature option, please, from the vendor menus.

Item Roll Windows Move to a Different Place (or made smaller) on Screen --
While this is a necessary thing to evade ninja's or divide gear quicker through class need (or potential greed), possibly move it lower or to another section of the screen that would be less obtrusive if they were to pop in the middle of a fight, or if someone is taking their time to roll considering we have to "back out" of the radial movements to use our individual mice cursors.

In-Game Clock --
While this is not a problem for me in Windowed-Full Screen mode, there are others who take advantage of non-windowed Full Screen mode who would like to see this function implemented.

Maturity filters are borked --
I know people are aware of this, including chat functions screwy.

Chat channels NOT saved --
This is pretty standard. Please fix this... it's slightly annoying. :\

Longer duels? --
This is super minimal on my complaint list but possibly? :P

On all other notes, the enchanting spam doesn't bother me or others I know, but there should be an option for those who do to turn off the sound for it.

And I think that's about it for now!

Thanks for reading, and would love to have someone from EME respond with their own thoughts to the lot of this information. :)

EDIT-->

- Health bar toggle for players/mobs outside groups above their models.
(edit: It seems that EnMasse reps said that they want to encourage PVP, and not pick and gank those at low health. Fine, but at least make this something available for PVE servers then?)

- PVP death bugs to be fixed.

- Instance-finder option to VOTE KICK players, INCLUDING the leader as it randomizes who becomes it at match set.

- Give credit to those who help in large BAM's in the world--instead of who has it tagged to get credit. Instead, those who aid in killing the mob should get the credit but those who did initially grab it first should have loot priority (if not removing the tagging system is SO detrimental to the integrity of the game).

- Allowing GUILD URL's in GMOTD and in the Guild Info for those who search guilds in the server's guild listing.

- Guild alliances?

if it wasnt mentioned. (or if it is in game and i somehow missed it in the short list of options you can set for ui)

-ui option : enable/disable duel invite
- basicly a feature to enable/disable all sorts of invites

some people find it funny to spam invite you with duels, guilds etc.

As far as the loot/roll window goes, if you press alt to bring up the cursor while it's up, you can mvoe it to anywhere you want.

I don't know how or why more people aren't mentioning the fact you can't see anyone's health bar until you engage them.

Or the fact you can't see the level of anyone while mounted because the targeting reticle disappears.

Or the fact you can't easily tell what race/class anyone is.

What do you mean health bar? in pvp mine shows up pretty quick, or at point where doesnt matter.

Reticle on mout should be fixed.

Its super easyyyyyyyy to tell what race class you are fighting. This is super easy every class /race looks unique. Idk how you can bring this up.

My point + Why hasn't anyone mention the bug where when you die in PVP a heathbar that comes up above your head which isn't even in sync with your real health... Also how it Covers Mob health when you go into PVE. This kind of a huge bug but no one is mentioning it.

You can't see anyone's (ally or foe) current health bar until you engage them. You can't tell who's at full health or who's almost dead (including mobs!) unless you're in a party.

Even when you inspect someone, it doesn't tell you what race/class they are. I find that odd.

Well, the PVP death thing should be addressed. Didn't actually address this because it wasn't really something I encountered since I didn't partake in PVP.

As far as the loot window thing, yeah, I guess you could do that but I am just stating for default placements if anything!

And agreed... but there shouldn't be a player-based implementation of the /who system. Guilds have it, why not people in the area/server?

Also, seeing health bars of people outside your group would be beneficial all around (or on mobs) that you can toggle on and off. I approve.

I'd say lets keep comments and suggestions to more broad scope. Keep in mind that most of these are purely OUR OWN opinion. So before we comment on certian things remember to think how the other players in our community would think about that particular feature.

For example the thouhts on keep the guild level up every two weeks. I am a guild leader of a very avg Population guild. Truthfully me and my officers alone could grind out those 50 badges in a day, to keep us at level 3. It is imo a very very easy task and one that Any guild large or small should be able to keep up with. I for one think the thought of guild levels being taken away is an amazing feature and very happy to see Enmasse implement it into their game!!
