I've Played through the 5 closed betas, open beta, head start and now live on multiple computers. No problems with the launcher or patching.

anyone tought it might be a probleme AROUND THE WORLD... geez like if you where next to the server...

1. change your DNS to some worldwide one (6.6.6.6 for google exemple)
2. make ping and try to see it it change when your game crash (ping x.x.x.x -t)
3. try to see if no one is downloading or [filtered] whit your internet (go on your routeur and kick everyone out)
4. plug your modem directly in your computer whitout passing by the routeur.
5. disable P2P sharring


IF ALL FAIL, GO TO A FRIEND HOUSE AND DOWNLOAD...

You need to trace the stack as others have suggested. Start by looking at your hardware (literally starting with the physical connections -- wires, make sure they are seated properly).

Next you would move on to your ISP. Run some tests and download some other things (with wireshark open) to see if and how many of the packets are being dropped.

If everything works properly, then it's not your PC or ISP at this point,

next do a tracert to the patch server you're connecting to.

Ping everything along the way at least 100 times (more is better) to see
a decent timeout rate.

If the problems exist at the server, then contact EME so they can contact the company handling the patch servers to try and resolve the issue.


Any tech support will basically tell you to do the same (abstract) thing. Start at your end and work to their end. Since it works for 99% of everyone else without a problem it's most likely something on your end (could even be some obscure windows setting).
