Bravo to an OP.

Also I would like to add something from my self. Of course this is not beta, it's preview version of TERA, been telling this quite before CBT started. At first EU events were called ''Preview Events'' which I believe is much more accurate. Even Scapes told there won't be miracle patch before launch fixing all the issues, it just unrealistic and naive to think like that. Furthermore it doesn't mean we shouldn't rise or address any concerns, thats why forums are for.

Also you don't have be be super smart to realize that dedicated dev team @ BHS is there for hot fixes and other minor mechanics like specific server setting, maybe specific droop setting etc They have no control over quests, game mechanics and everything that runs deep otherwise game development soon would split in 2 branches which would be disastrous and big headache for developers.

I'm so glad that I have someone who is willing to inform me on common sense information that I didn't already know. /end sarcasm

Most people can figure out if there's a game already post production doing fairly well we are going to get the same content. However, that doesn't mean our feedback is any less important. There are also *always* issues with localizing a game. Western players can find exploits that haven't been found out by any other test group just because we play differently. FFXI has often spoke of this when they bring in new content. While a separate game, it's the same premise here. Just because there is a finalized version does not mean that there are not minor tweaks that will need to be made to the NA version.

Any company worth its salt will be willing to consider the feedback its consumers give. While not every suggestion carries much weight there are sometimes outcries for improvements and changes that should be heeded. The current CB phases may be considered a way to garner publicity in many aspects and it is doing well. However, that doesn't invalidate the need to see how users respond to the game.

If you've been following forums lately there's very little common sense. I'm not even talking about TERA prior launch, it's about every other MMO who's about to be launched. People believe in 'miracle patch' and argue to death about it. Worst case was FFX IV when the game was so bad yet people were still defending and saying it's gonna be great.

So to sum up, you should never expect common sense specially in official forums prior launch because bias and hype does it's own for many.

This photo is a screenshot of how the Japanese actually created a line for people to finish their quest in the starter area as a symbol of respect for each other.

But they're speaking English?

This photo has a lot of misinformation about it, but I think the point is still there. They seem to be making a line of sorts.

That is true. But, the point I was making was. That he originally stated it was, a screenshot of the starter area, not Lumbertown
