Use Trade... it is a Global Channel....
But since people who spam LFG is actually looking for an audience, they ignore Trade and spam LFG anyways.
If you have a global chat, most people will just turn it off or not monitor it (like Trade Channel) and they will return to LFG anyways.
EME need to aggressively mute or ban if they want LFG channel abuses to stop.

Hi, I'd like to welcome you to the internet.
But, you could create a global channel for people to use though it really isn't going to detour much from the LFG. Someone will have to correct me if I am wrong, but I do believe the command to create a custom chat channel is /make (channel name) (4 digit password) [ /makechannel or /makechat could also work] ...... for people to join the custom channel it is /join (channel name) (4 digit password) [ /joinchannel or /joinchat should also work as well here]

well either what the OP suggested or make me able to post the LFG board message on other channels (e.g. area chat)...it's a real bummer to be limited to use it in the one channel everyone lounges and chitchats on...
Someone brought up trade...yet I see people posting WTB and WTS on LFG more than in the trade channel.. I don't know, seems to be a user issue more than anything. However, I think if they were to add a 'Lounging/Lobby' global type chat without any message posting limitations, it may help.
