the fact that people would complain about PURELY cosmetic items that you are NOT forced to buy is utterly ridiculous. this 'im entitled to all content because i pay a sub' argument is beyond weak, this is not a cheap on disc DLC stunt, it's vanity. you pay extra for vanity. now do the forum a favor, and stfu.

Most likely because of past experiences with other games that implement a cash shop... bad memories or expectations. That or they're lying out their ears, people do that a lot around here.

A month from now you get a vanity skin that's superior to any in game model in the game.

What now? Buy the damn skin ofc.

Pure Genius Enmasse. Start off with some low tier vanity skins, then work your way up.
I mean, look at the Sword and Shield for lancer! That's a pretty significant skin! Changes everything about the class just with the purchase of a skin. Psychologically. These vanity skins had more value as in game rewards than symbols of greed.

I've never played P2P before SWTOR and this game so I'm cool with paying for vanity items no matter the price :P

Though what I see isn't anything that interests me or is coaxing me to continue playing the game. I see basic features that the community has been asking for - for awhile now. Nothing like fashion, custom head wear (hairstyles), or anything I'm use to seeing in F2P/P2W games I enjoy.

Thats because F2P games rely on those to stay a float. P2P generally release more content over cosmetics.

No these people aren't. I absolutely love Tera, and I really like EME with their 'down to earth' attitude, but I absolutely don't agree with the prices.

I don't care if I need them or not, it's bad business to close your doors on paying customers. There were more posts of people saying "I'd have bought so-and-so amount if they were at $5." That's lost profit. Not to mention they're not even attempting to compete with WoW and lower the prices (as was posted in the ginormous thread of http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=31g0YE61PLQ to the cash shop).

Some people are completely over this Cash Shop (despite what they're selling) + Sub + Price of the game. They show this by cancelling their subs. EME gets smart and changes their model to be competitive and -keep- their customers.
