so i get to 60 and i think to myself... maybe i should level crafting... see what it is like.

i get to 250 easily and cheaply enough... then start trying to craft my very first weapon to get up to the next rank.(which presumably is 252... though i couldnt be for sure yet)

i take a look at the mats (which are for a WHITE ITEM). i cant even believe my eyes.

75 shadsteel ingot(not hard, but absurd considering my entire time leveling i only gathered around 400 of them).
70 archrune of shara-in my entire time leveling i only gathered 50 of them.
29 archrune of titans-leveling i gathered 29 of them... and this includes doing all bam quests and dungeons.

PS. im going to go farm now to complete this ONE item. hopefully it doesnt dissapoint me much more than it already has.

i MIGHT be able to understand these mats if they gave like 40 skill each, but undoubtedly they give very very little(at most 10)

... did some research... and you only get 2 skillups per item... you know what? [filtered] that. patch this [filtered] please.

I'm sitting on 250 and will until they fix this. If they don't fix it, I'll never bother, and I doubt anyone else will either. Not like crafting produces OMG EXTRAORDINARY items anyway, right?

Yea, crafting is one thing they need to fix in this game. Completely useless at right now....

You can't even pick up high level essence.

Im at 410 crafting (hit it yesterday) and level 60 fee days after release. If you can get that within a month, whats the problem. Its easy as it is. Wtf is up with people wanting all for free in mmos nowadays.

This is another one of those hiccups EME needs to iron out, and it's really something we need to keep bringing up until it's fixed. We were supposed to have quests for gaining crafting skill, particularly for those skill levels.

They're missing. Where are they?

Crafted items can get more bonuses from enchanting them from what I've heard. If that's the case it'd be worth crafting some of that stuff and saving the enchants you want. If you end up with 6 enchants all exactly what you want that's a lot.
