How is this disappointing? All these changes look really great for the game.

OP is worried that the BGs will become a second Dredgion.

For those that don't know Aion (congratulations, you are happier than most of us), Dredgion is a PvPvE scenario where you fight vs AI controlled monsters and an enemy team to accomplish a specific goal.

Conceptualy it's fine, however the implementation of Dredgion made it so that PvE was more encouraged than actual PvP, so what should've been a PvP focused battleground became a PvE race with a chance of PvP. Add the fact that this was the only battleground in the game for two years (3 in korea) and you get a really traumatized player being very defensive against PvPvE battlegrounds coming from a korean developer.

As I said before, a knee-jerk reaction. We won't know till we see them.

You just described Alterac Valley. ;)

Actually it wasn't like alterac valley as both player sides were going against the same enemy npc race.

I actually liked dredgion.. x.x

Otherwise though it seems positive. Now that a stamina bar will be in the game, I have no choice but to make an alt warrior.

Some gems to look forward to:

"One of them is the Stamina Bar/Gauge you can see above (I assume the current stamina will revert back to condition as it was referred to previously). If a Lancer successfully blocks an attack no MP will be consumed but Stamina instead. This will ensure that Lancers will have better resources.

Warriors on the other hand will be able to continually evade and dodge attacks while they have Stamina so as long as you have stamina, no cooldown will be applied to the skill."

So basically, Warriors can chain roll, and Lancers can't get damaged through block, meaning they are unkillable in pvp.

Good Job, Blue Hole

We're back to the good old TERA build when You could spam dodge skill.

Wow, that ... is some big changes... I dunno about the pvp balance of having a warrior able to dodge multiple times, definitely helps their tanking a TON though.

Look no further than change #1, aka Dredgion part II, and try not to rage too hard.

Let's get mad about something before we understand it!

Wow, warriors can indefinitely spam dodge for as long as stamina holds, so if they have STAM pots, they'll just dodge all day every day.

As true as that is, AV also wound up being a primarily PvE experience in a BG. :\

I don't think that stamina bar is the same stamina as we currently recharge at campfires.

I mean, imagine spending THAT stamina bar like a resource: you'd be burning away your own health and mana at ridiculous rates, right?

I'd wager that the stamina bar is going to be like the energy bar in WoW and SWTOR: a rapidly recharging resource that people will spend on the fly.

Otherwise, imagine a warrior running out of stamina and being unable to dodge for the remainder of the fight.

I'm thinking the idea is that a warrior can chain X dodge moves together, where X is the number of moves they can do within their allowed stamina before needing to recharge it.
