Currently, kTera has a Item Shop in place for purely cosmetic items (Hats, Weapon-skins etc) and Mounts.
Purchasing such a cosmetic item also gives your character T-cat points.
These T-cat points can be spend in-game for items (Non-cosmetic items, actual weapons or armor for example).
This all sounds like a well hidding "Pay-to-win" system (Like most Free2Play games have) hidden in a "purely cosmetic" item shop.
Now personally I have no issues at all with Cosmetic Item Shops next to a Pay 2 Play game like Tera, however the whole T-cat points added to it make it Pay 2 Win in my book that you should only see with F2P games.
So my question, will Tera NA also implement an item shop in the future? And if yes, will you also implements these T-cat points so people can buy perhaps gold-level items without effort?
And what does the community think of these shops? Fine with it all? Or Cosmetic only?
