After you are 4 levels higher than a mob, drop rate becomes crappy.

But pretty much all level 50-60 BAMs have horrid drop rates to begin with. So don't bother with BAMs a few levels lower than you unless you can easily take it down within a few mins.

Level 30 BAMs drop better than level 60 BAMs for a lv 60 player. It's ridiculous.

Another reason to be looking forward to Guild Wars 2 and a strike against Tera, in my opinion.

In GW2 you can't out-level content. So, if you're level 30 and dropping by a level 10 area you never had the opportunity to visit, your power is temporarily scaled down to that of a level 10 character. This way you match the difficulty of the area.

That means every area will always be challenging. Every area can be viable end-game content. And since every area will always be challenging, risk versus reward remains intact regardless of your true level. And because of that, those level 10 mobs will be dropping loot appropriate for your true level (30, in this example).

A much more beautiful way to handle it, I feel. Tera simply penalizes the player for out-leveling content with one hand while throwing XP at them with the other. (sigh)

Considering the playerbase needs hundreds of golds and blues to make their equipment +9....and due to Instances being the only solid supply for them, there's a short supply of enchant fodder, making what items people do sell very expensive.

If they just make it that we could use items 1 tier higher/lower than the item to be enchanted, it would make all equipment have a much better use. Lv 60 items are 5-10x more expensive than lv 58 since no one really needs lv 58 gear.

It would balance out the market since to enchant T12 gear you could use T11 gear no one cares about, along with any spare T12 items you come across.

Another easier solution would be to make it that item grade does not effect the success of enchanting, making all T12 items worth using as enchant fodder regardless of what + you're at.

Bit of a rant there, so my bad. D:

Maybe Tera is made for PvP and not to just sit around for countless hours and just farm BAM's like it's your job, I feel like this game is more PvP oriented , hence the fast lvling, so do your GW2 recruiting some where else, this is tera forums not gw2.

To sound completely honest, this trash sounds [filtered] Terrible

I spent x amount of hours in game to level up? just to go to a lowbie zone and get nerfed back to lvl 10?

stupid...
