sorry but i dont mind getting ganked and pvp but i shouldnt be penalized when someone 20 levels above me waits outside town or random zone or whatever, anytime, anywhere. you shouldnt lose stamina. end of story. too many variables to make it an unfair fight to warrant actually losing something. if it were mutual or consentual then thats fine

yeah i know, i shouldnt roll on a pvp server.. well. like i said. i dont mind the pvp, but i shouldnt lose something for being a lowbie that gets ganked all over no matter what channel you go to.

vI can sympathize with getting ganked but losing your stamina is one of the few impacts there is to dying in PvP.

There may be some tweaks coming to the Infamy system to help discourage ganking lower level players but sadly PvP will never be fair. There will always be something...

Being outnumbered
Being attacked while low on health
Begin attacked while fighting a BAM
etc....

Unfair fights aren't something just for PvP, you do it all the time when you PvE. You fight Monsters that are lower level than you, you use potions and gear to give you an advantage to make the fight easier,etc...

It is no different in PvP and GvG, you want an advantage and there are lots of things available to you.. larger group, higher levels, better gear, better strategy, and even simply a better player that knows how to play his class well.

If controlled PvP designed to limit advantages is what you like you would be better off playing on the PvE server until Battlegrounds are added later.

The big thing people have to understand about a PvP server is... The game isn't design for you to always win like it is in PvE, In PvP someone has to lose and that someone will be a customer that has to enjoy the challenge of fighting other Players and all their trickyness :P

Well said. But pvp needs a reason. Ganking lumbertown bridge is stupid. Killing me for afarm spot makes sense. Otherwise, as people said, it's a waste of time. I wish more pvp was centered around some purpose.

I agree, I would like a purpose for PvP too.

Maybe the Political system will give PvP and GvG some focus.

lol its like ninety silver to fix your stamina.

its losing the crystals that sucks, but at low levels its doesnt mean [filtered] all to die just pay the 90 silver and gtfo

You don't lose crystals unless it's a PvE death or you are flagged outlaw and die to another player. You do not lose crystals in GvG or from being ganked by an outlaw.

When you declare outlaw all guards should attack when you're within range (add some melee guards and make then respond faster - I've had mobs follow me to quest hubs and the guard takes 1-2mins to notice them). Outlaws should gain bounties when they kill a certain amount of players in a single province. Which will ruin your rep int hat area, keep you from doing dailies from the faction in that area, and possibly lower the quest reward value in that area (this will mostly be for killing lowbies so not to discourage PvP). Safezones are no longer safe once you declare outlaw or have infamy which is why guards will attack you.

The guild I am in - Prophecy, on BC, has heard the cries coming from the low level zones like lumbertown - filled with gankers.

We spent 4 hours last night securing those posts and pinning gankers into the safe sones while the noobs went out to quest.

If you are on BC - remember us when you go to the polls at election time. Our guild leaders name is Junko. He has not decided which province to run for yet, but stay tuned we will let you know.
