You are level 20, there is no challenge before atleast level 30, where mobs actually start to play like you do.

EDIT: No longer need translation!

I'd mention BAMs, but not all quests cover BAMs.

Simply put, for the first portion of the game, normal mobs are trash mobs. They're not meant to be very dangerous until sometime later, and even then, they won't ever be life threatening. That would actually hurt the feel of the BAM fights.

I don't think anyone will argue that out side of BAMs and dungeons, the PvE in TERA is way too easy.

I look forward to that, but my main fear is that people are going to quit the game long before they get there because it's pathetically easy until you fight a BAM.

Exactly. I've already had a friend I convinced to try the game decide he doesn't like it purely based on the lack of difficulty. He only made it to level 18

Something being too easy doesn't make them quit, it makes them blaze through content.

They'll see BAMs their second day of playing, as well as the first dungeon which has a more fun challenge-level than questing.

If you don't have the patience to wait that long, then good riddance to bad rubbish.

The people we lose before they even hit level 20 may quit the moment they ran out of things to do. Depends on if they care to PvP I guess.

But that's assuming the number of hardcores that seek Titan mode hard right after hitting "create" actually outnumber the casuals and action MMO newbies.

"Big-A** Monster." It's basically a really big monster with LOTS of HP and hits fairly hard. Also has a more dynamic move set than most trash/normal mobs. You'll be spending minutes per BAM on average, unless you're over leveled/over geared.
