Haven't read to see if it's been mentioned, but you can skip prologue EVEN ON YOUR FIRST CHARACTER by logging out and back in. It should be an option to skip it just upon selecting your character though.

How short of an attention span does Daish have? The prologue is very simple, pretty much impossible to die in, and only takes maybe 30mins to go through.

What's the big deal?

The prologue isn't a big deal. I do know that Noob Island caused a lot of people to not buy the game because it's so boring. A few of my friends tried out TERA during open beta and they couldn't get passed that zone because the questing system is very underwhelming. They liked the combat though but not enough to get over the PvE aspects.

I'm a silly old woman and I managed the prologue. If I can do it... I'm sure with some ingenuity others could as well.

If you quit before the prologue you're a weakass [filtered] and should promptly go [filtered] yourself.

the Prologue should be a choice to play at level 30 not a new player trying Tera for the first time
