the true WoW killer?

Awesome updates by EnMasse announced in "Closed Beta Test 4 Recap". This shows that EnMasse actually does hear and respond to player feedback. The game itself is awesome and combined with the efficiency shown so far by EnMasse I am tempted to pose the following question:
"Have we finally found the true WoW-killer?"

I know it is a bit premature to ask such a question but I will definitely keep my fingers crossed and hope!

No. Stop asking that stupid question every time a new MMO comes out.

I wish the phrase would die. The only thing that'll kill WoW is Blizzard making enough decisions people don't like.

Well the combat system is certainly the tab-targeting killer, but being a kmmo, I dont think it will be an over-all WoW killer. It is certain that it is the FFXIV killer tho lol.

But, only time will tell. IF Bluehole does suddenly decide to quit on developing tera and simultaniously refuse to let anyone else pick up on it (even tho Private server folks def will), and En Masse doesnt suddenly quit on tera for whatever reason, I think it may eventually kill WoW dead.

Edit: man haters came in quick :P.

A while ago i thought that although Tera's combat looked really fun, It still wouldn't be a huge impact to the mmo genre and that it wouldn't hold a candle to Guild Wars 2. I thought this because just like in Aion, Swtor, Rift, AoC and so many other mmo's, it only focuses on innovating in one part of the game, (story, rifts, combat for tera, etc..) and like all those other games Tera succeeds in the one area it attempts to innovate very well.. but everything else is everything that we've always seen. This is the sole reason why i believe so many mmo's aren't as successful as they should be. Although i still hold by the beliefs i started out with. The PvP in this game just looks way too fun for me to pass up. And i think it will really serve a great filler, I just pre-ordered it and really hope it lives up to what I'm seeing when i play it but..

Will it kill WoW? No, Not even a little bit.

I think WoW will slowly die with mists of pandara too. That expansion shows they are running out Warcraft related lore, now that damn near everyone is like..... dead.

Maybe if High Lord Fordring decides to be a real lich king..... cough

If we're going to randomly guess and make statements on the death of WoW like always might as well have fun eh?

There is only one way to kill WoW...a silver bullet wrapped in bacon.
