i can't get my xbox controller to work in game i have tried to uninstall and reinstall the driver a few times there is no yellow ! in the device manager. it works in the calibration mode when i run "joy.cpl" but in tera it just will not work,
the controller i have is the wired xbox 360 black ops

does the controller work with other games? I'm using the 360 controller and it's working fine.
yeah its just not in tera. its responding fine and the light on the xbox controller is light on the upper left side.
i was able to get it to work on my spouses laptop but still no go on my pc i am out of ideas besides using the controller a target pratice.
I am not able to get it working with Tera either. To be fair, have not used it in other games yet, but Windows sees it and I can run through calibration/testing.
I started Skyrim real quick to see if it worked there, and it worked as if I was playing natively on my XBOX. I have no idea why Tera will not accept input from the game controller though.
Just a thought, have you tried firing up the controller AFTER you launch the game? I've only used my Xbox controller a couple times with TERA and I didn't care for it, but I think once when I was in-game and turned it on my UI switched.
you can type ingame /controller to bring up the configure screen, i'm not sure if that'll help but it may be worth a try.
I can bring up the controller configuration with /controller. But that does not change anything. I tried disconnecting some other USB peripherals as well, no dice. Very strange that it works in other games, just not Tera.
