Hi all and welcome.


I'm creating this thread with the hopes to attract my fellow Australians and New Zealanders to help build a strong community on TERA, myself and a small group of friends have been following the progress of TERA over the past few years and are really looking forward to finally being able to participate in the game and experiencing one of the most unique appearing MMO's that we've seen for quite some time.

To me TERA looks like it has a lot of potential but also a few issues especially for the Australian Community as our Telecommunications infrastructure is years behind that of many other first world nations , it also doesn't help with us being in Timbuktu n all.(come on NBN!!) But enough about that if the game is worth playing we will put up with the high latencies regardless.

So This thread is for the Australian and New Zealand Community to Discuss your thoughts and fears about the release of TERA.

Hopefully over the next few weeks we will have some more information about the servers being hosted and we can discuss which server is best for us and where we will all be going and why.

I haven't seen much of it especially in Australia and for any game to be successful you need it by various means.

I've been trying to do my best via word of mouth with friends through the steam community and if anyone is interested in helping please join our steam group

Question: How did you find out about Tera?

Bit of organization, I like it.

I dont think there will be that many beta servers up, however when it gets into the Head start I hope we can pick a server to assign as the Aussie Server!

Hopefully we will get a fair bit of interest and have the vast majority of us on the same server together would be good to all level with each other and experience content n that :)

Looking forward to the closed beta next week. Hoping we get a good heads up so we can download it in time :)

:) yeah its coming along nicely, i would be interested to see how many Australians have currently pre ordered was hoping to get a little more interest here but its still early days.
