Perhaps you are not understanding fully what was promised. Avid is indeed promising zero taxes. Thus, we will be adding zero taxes to the bare minimum the game requires. The default is 1%, we can not change that, no one can.

So yes, we are going to have zero taxes in our province. The default setting the game puts in place is not something we control.

This is more comical than it is bothersome! Lol, we'll see who really keeps their taxes at 1% this go around. Notice all these first round vanarchs already talking about taking their taxes up to 5%? Pretty soon it'll be the norm and we'll all keep on trucking and laughing our asses off at try hards. Notice all these 1% tax guilds, what did they do with all this tax revenue? Run for Vanarch again and bank the rest? Yup, talk about greedy huh? You know what we did with our 5% tax? We re ran for Vanarch again and gave the rest of it away in a nightly drawing along with cash out of our own pocket.
