About Us: Thirsty Gaming began in 2008 when a group of like-minded players assembled under a single tag. With the creation of the guild came the much anticipated pursuit and domination of competitive play that those players sought. Fast forward four years and Thirsty Gaming has now spanned a multitude of online games, ranging from MMOs, FPSs, RTSs, and MOBAs.

Thirsty Gaming seeks to combine the high skill level of players with the tools and environment of a professional eSports setting. This unique synthesis makes for a surrounding which fosters top world play. Our mission at Thirsty Gaming is to game hard, game long, and game the best.

Achievements: Thirsty is a hardcore progression based guild. We take our PvE and PvP seriously. Our roster boasts professional level players from games including Counter-Strike, Quake, Battlefield, SC2, World of Warcraft, Rift, SWTOR, and DotA. These players have pushed the guild to the top level of play that we hold ourselves to today.

Most notably we are comprised of a core that has attained top 10 world progression rankings in games including World of Warcraft, Rift, and SWTOR. The hard work of our members coupled with a drama free environment has allowed us to maintain a level of excellence across multiple games.

-World second kill on Jarg and Sorno, the hardest fight in TOR.
-World 7th ranked PvE guild overall.
-The first three level 50s on our TOR server were members of Thirsty,
-The first Battlemaster was a member of Thirsty.





What are we looking for?
We currently have a need based recruitment format. That being said, I urge interested players to apply on our forums. As always, we are on the lookout for exceptional players who are dedicated. Over the coming weeks we will be expanding our recruitment needs to fill aspects of our rosters. Player applications will be weighted heavily in this process and we will give priority to players who have been actively playing and who have shown a heavy amount of dedication to the guild. Listed below are our requirements for players.

Requirements:

Mumble - We require all members to use Mumble Voice as a VoIP communication software.
Dedication - All members need to maintain a responsible and dedicated attitude. Reliability is a must.
Excellence - We pride ourselves on being talented gamers. A high level of skill is required in order to join Thirsty. Expect to be evaluated on trial runs before receiving further application instructions.
Humor - A level of humor needs to be tolerated if you are to get on with our members.
Fun - First and foremost we game to have fun and to vent steam. Have a positive go getter attitude.

Cool! I played on the same server on SWTOR with you guys, I used to watch some of you guys stream, you guys wrecked, hope to see you in game.

Are you guys planning on opening up recruitment at launch? I remember I applied in SWTOR but you guys always said that you didn't actively recruit you just recruited the best players that you played with

Also, is Snitka playing? I grouped with him a few times back in SWTOR

Right on man! We will be streaming launch and our progression race once we hit 60, so keep tuning in. We upgraded the site and now have a streaming section so you can watch it through that or on twitch.

I talked with some of the leadership and will be updating the post later today with recruitment info etc. We just wanted to drop a line to the community before we started a guild info section. As of today, we will continue with the closed recruitment model. However, we encourage people to apply via the site as we will be opening up some slots and looking for exceptional players once we have a lock on everything Tera related.

Cool, saw the updated post. Old character name was Farthen, was a Sith Juggernaut. Remember you and Flegg hitting 50 first on the server the day of release, haha, was nuts.
