ok so i just went to go buy and download Tera and noticed about 50gb
now the space isn't a problem, but the long download time is.
Is there anywhere I could buy like a tera disc and install with that? if so would I be able to get the Digital collectors edition for the mount and what not?

I usually forgo downloading games because of the huge download size and long download times. (Downloaded my fair share of games from Amazon to realize downloading large game files take forever, especially if the download didn't go as expected and resulted in a corrupt file - and having to re-download)

For TERA, I bought the retail Standard Edition. (Retail Collector's Edition w/ Lion Mount sold-out during pre-order at the time) The retail edition is only 25gb (as opposed to 50gb for the download version).

There are 3-install disks. Installing TERA from disc took me just over 3 hours. (Install time is subjective to your hard drive speed).

Once installed, it took me another 2 hours to download and install the patch.

why is the digital collectors edition so much larger?
Also where would i be able to get the disc? walmart/gamestop/bestbuy?

Probably because the digital download includes all the patches and after getting the Retail version you have to patch it. But I'll have to check, I don't recall my digital download being 50GB. I think it's 30ish after all patches.

Turn off P2P (Peer to peer) in the download section, this will help with download times.

Don't want to order off of ebay and I'd like to get the digital collectors edition -which isn't on ebay-
Both downloading and ordering it online are something I'd like not to do
Downloading would be ok but the max i generally see my download time is about 500kbs, it usually hovers around 300-350kbs, so 25gb would take days.

^i correct that, there are a few collectors editions, but they are overpriced, and ontop of that I'd still need to pay shipping.

jeez my dl is jumping everywhere.
i keep looking over and seeing 180ish, 250 ish, 330ish, and very rarely above 500 *KBS*
most common being 240kbs. anyway i can speed this up? it slowed down when i turned p2p sharing off -to a steady 201kbs- max dl speed is unlimited. ect ect.

wow wtf my dl speed is at a steady 23kbs?
