Court action against Enmasse- will I lose my money?

Hi there.
Wikipedia says there is a court action pending against Enmasse (search for tera on wikipedia), and that these are taking place in South Korea as well as in New York. If NCSoft wins, it seems NCSoft want Tera to close.
Dirty tactics from NCSoft as far as I am concerned- they simply do not want competition. I think Enmasse can argue that quite successfully.
BUT-
assuming the worst, and tera is forced to close down-
will I get my money back? I wont get my time back obviously, and I will be seriously pissed off about losing out on a cool game- but what about game time already paid for and the game I bought?
thanks!

If NCSoft kills Tera I will do my best to destroy what little they have going for them if they don't derp it up and destroy it themselves first.

eh last i checked online it was closed and they had reached an agreement. Enmasse also stated that it would not affect the game here stateside, and as far as it being dirty tactics if people you employed stole your product, and started selling it under a different name you would want justice done as well. it's not about competition. This game was originally slated in Korea as Lineage 3 however with the content and designs stolen and Bluehole studio's founded, NCsoft just gave most of that content as a major content patch to Lineage 2. Does this change anything for us the players? No this game is still great, yes it was founded on sketchy terms but whatever i'm still happy with the product recieved and no offence to NCsoft after the failing that was Aion here in the usa (mainly Ncwest) i really can't say i'm sad to not see this as a ncsoft game. atleast i have my hopes we will get content at a reasonable pace.

NCSoft already lost the suit in Korea. Based on that I doubt they have any footing here in US courts

A higher court just recently picked up their appeal and ruled in NCSoft's favor. That being said, it shouldn't affect anything for TERA, at worst NCSoft will demand a bunch of money or something.

1) It'll be awhile.
2) EME's official policy is not to discuss ongoing legal situations.

Nope, it won't have an impact. The Korean courts ruled that there was nothing wrong with BHS however three former employees did have criminal and monetary charges brought up against them and that was ruled in NCsoft's favor.

Basically, BHS/EME/Frogster will be just fine.

ChoppaGurl is so misinformed it's almost sickening.

Fatwa is a clueless sheep butt-kisser and a EME fanboy. What the person asked is information about the situation which is not "hidden under the covers" as your making it as.

You can find more information about this on massively and inven(Korean News) and several review websites.

http://massively.joystiq.com/2012/04/17/korean-court-confirms-guilty-verdict-in-tera-criminal-trial/

And yes it WILL have an impact on Tera though it's unknown how much. Which is probably the reason why EME is pumping out updates every-week like maniacs for every single thing in an re-used, watered down game that's been out for 3 years in Japan and Korea.

Tera was released in Korea 1/2011 and in japan 07/2011 that makes the game 1 year and 3 months old. not 3 years.

Fatwa is kinda awesome actually Choppa. He/She has irritated the crap out of me on some of his forum posts, mostly because he was right. And yet here again.. he's right. EME won't discuss it, not necessarily cause they don't want to, but because they aren't supposed to.

We won't here anything official about this until a year or two after launch.. at best. That's how the US legal system seems to work. Hear about something in 2006, find out what the end of it was in 2012.

So again Fatwa is right you silly noob!

And to address the OP - Don't worry bout your money..
