Do LFG queue times ever get better?

Finally hit 20 on my Priest and queued for the first instance. Been waiting 45 mins and still nothing. Should I just roll a Lancer, even though I hated playing one? Or do queue times get better as I gain more levels? If I have to wait 45-60 mins for groups event though I love healing the hell with that.

Honestly, healers are becoming more sparce somehow, today I queued with a lancer and we actually waited 3 minutes for the queue to pop for Balders Temple.

But yeah, generally queues for anything but a lancer are 30mins-2 hours.

Find a guild, make some friends(preferably lancers) and try to use area chat to get groups faster.

Did you try asking around in Area chat? There are usually people standing at the entrance to the 20 dungeon, just waiting for someone to come over and so they can ask to party (at least, they are on Serpentis...which is supposedly the lowest pop PVE server).

If you can at least group with tank and DPS you can get in instance. I had this happen the other night where I had to wait 10 minutes as a tank. Which I have no problem waiting as I generally get in instantly. Once warriors get tanking rights, healers will be the commodity.

Kind Regards,

Queue times will fluctuate, depending on level and the dungeon and the time. I've waited 1.5 hours as a healer, and I've had it pop within 5 minutes. It just depends.

One thing to note though, is that the queue will be faster if you are queue'd with someone else, even if it's a dps.

This this this. Always ask around and form a party through area chat/LFG channel; and constantly queue for Instance Matchmaking as you gain members. My brother and I have yet to wait longer than 20 minutes as Sorcerer/Slayer while all the DPS classes that queue solo bewail their 2 hour queue times.

As a level 35 dps I never wait for more than 20-45min on my server which is high population. If I'm queing during non peak hours it gets to be longer.
