Further research indicates that Windows 7 Blocks port 10001 by default, way to choose your ports guys, and worse, even with Windows Firewall completely disabled and inbound and outbound ports of both kinds specified under it anyway, I can't get this friggin' port open.

Nothing I do seems to work, there REALLY should be alternate ports instead of this one poorly chosen port, but since there's not, ZOMG HELP!

Not sure if you tried opening ports on your router, but that is what is required to solve this issue.

For example, I have a cisco router and I have enter my config page using a web browser and IP address for my device. Once inside you will be able to open specific ports.

If that doesnt solve it for you then you may need to call your modem manufacturer for support. I know it sucks but good luck.

It's in bridge mode, it's open to every single port imaginable, and I don't like that btw, but I tried that as a solution.

Frankly TERA shouldn't even be using port 10001 it was an irresponsible decision on the part of the developers too many trojans and viruses use that port and it's blocked on a lot of systems by default but for Christ's sake I've done everything I can possibly think of to get it open and I'm still locked out.

And I can't visit the site either, the main site tells me I'm not allowed to view it, I'm starting to think maybe I'm being region blocked or something I'm not sure.

Thanks for the feedback though, that may make all the difference for someone doing a search for the same issue.
