Good Computer having FPS issues

Specs:
i5-2400 Intel CPU
EVGA GTX 560 Ti
1080p monitor
8 gigs of ram
Asrock H61M Motherboard

For some reason no matter if I turn down my settings to the lowest or highest, I get FPS drops when I fight multiple mobs. I thought I had a good enough computer to run this game but it seems like I need to upgrade more parts.

I have updated ALL drivers.

Question:
1. Is there a way to increase FPS by tweaking some settings?
2. Is the game still being optimized?
3. Should I turn off some intel bios settings?

Thank you!

I have Vsync force on and triple buffer on via Nvidia Control Panel.

Disabling vertical sync will help your FPS.

Besides that, what do you consider "bad" FPS? Is it spiking downward, and from what to what? There are some known hardware compatibility issues being worked out, but this may or may not apply to you.

anything below 55 fps is bad. i can see it getting choppy.

btw how do i disable vsync in the game? there is no such thing. I have to do via nvidia control panel.

Vertical sync is not enabled within the game, as far as I know. You don't have to disable it within the control panel because it is not enabled.

Also, you'll have to understand that those computer specs will not net you a constant 60+ FPS within this game on maximum graphics. The game is also highly CPU intensive, so your graphics card may not even be at fault here. Regardless, lowering or disabling some settings in the options may help you.

Most console games run at 30 FPS, some even lower. Just saying.
