Everytime I try to log into the launcher it crashes. I have windows 7 with an 64-bit computer (Not sure if it matters) I tried reinstalling the game over and over, and it still crashes. If anyone can help me it would be much appreciated.
The game itself crashes when you launch it? or the whole launcher?
Having this problem as well, launcher crashes when I click login regardless if I enter my user details or not.
My patcher downloads a very small amount... and says "Applying patch".... the patcher then closes and re opens... and repeats. The amount of data varies... but usually 1 to 2mb... Its been doing this for about two days. I even completely uninstalled the program... reran the download client, still having the same issue.
I too, have WIN 7 64 bit.
Something odd just happened to me... seemed my internet went out for a bit... like 5 minutes. Doing this gave the patcher a "unable to connect" obviously. But as soon as my internet was restored, the patcher asked for login info. After putting it in, and logging in, it began to download the correct way. Its showing much more than what it was doing earlier.. and giving me an actual ETA of download complete. Not sure how, but I think the verification might have had something to do with mine working.
Before, the patcher didnt ask for any login credentials, just did a 2mb download, then patcher restart... looping itself for a very long time.
Maybe, just maybe, you guys can try this: Unplug your internet (or disable your wifi) with your patcher running.... let it get to the "unable to connect" window.... reconnect to the interwebz... and go from there like I did. Perhaps it will clear up an issue?
And yes.. I did have a ticket in on this... but it seems to be working as intended now. Fingers crossed I dont have any issues completing the DL.
Just logined through launcher and started downloading. The fix was to set capability mode to WIndows XP (Service Pack 3) and tick run program with Administrative rights if you don't have UAC disabled. Working on Win7 64 bit.
Ive started to download the patch for first beta, the speed its going doesnt stop dropping down and going back up, when it get pretty low it writes "reliable source serving corrupt data" then it go back up (close to my internet speed / 700 kb/s) and then start going down again.
Looks like it will be pretty long downloading it all with this problem.
I thought my patcher kept crashing as well but it was just minimizing to the taskbar beside the clock, so it was hidden from view on my desktop. I was extremely confused by this for a while.
