Hi all. I'm just about ready to buy, but have one question before going through with it. I'm a hardcore exploration type when it comes to MMOs, and I've been wondering about the cities. All the screenshots and videos make them look incredible, but I've yet to see any interiors. Could anyone point me in the direction of shots or videos showing stores, taverns, and other city building interiors? Thanks!
There aren't really any places like inns or taverns, that I've seen. The interiors are mainly things like the arcane area, where casters train their spells and the instead of the federation headquarters. Everything looks just as amazing inside as it does outside. A lot of shopkeepers are individual npc's that are around the city. Some parts of cities look like they have areas that could be residential, which might where guild halls will be later. But as far as "interior design" the game is rather open.
Well, I think they have little built in sections where they set up shop and whatnot. I am not currently on the RP server, so I am unsure how that community interacts. People often stand in the cities near the shopkeepers and trade brokers, but there are some vendors who do not have a shop, but instead, stand out in the open with a cart or might even be in a tent. But, if you're thinking of something like WoW, with the shops, a cozy atmosphere or having more than one level, I have not come across those yet. The arcane place appears to look like a library, and parts of Allemantheia have shops with items on the walls, but I'm not sure there are special gathering areas. But as I said, it could be different on the RP server. You could always open a thread on the Celestial Hills thread and ask some questions there to members of their community. :)
