TERA subscription questions

I was just looking at the Pre-order page and noticed that you have to select a payment plan in order to buy the game. Does this mean it automatically bills you each month (or whatever time-frame you selected), or is that just the initially time with the game that you buy? If It bills you automatically, can I turn that off? There's no guarantee of me having the money to buy time every month, I would rather just be able to buy time whenever I want to, rather than get billed. Will there be Time-cards you can buy in store?

You get the first 30 days for free so En Masse will not bill you until June. That being said, you cannot turn off the subscription plan; one has to be in place. Supposedly there will be game cards but they've really not released any information on that.

Well if they automatically bill you, then I quite literally can't get this game, because it could potentially screw me over. I don't exactly have a lot of spare money.

You could set up your sub and after the deduction shows up on your card/bank account, cancel the subscription. You still get to play until your time runs out. Then when you have the money, start the process over again.

I've heard it will be possible to buy game time vouchers that can be sold on the in-game auction house. any idea if that's true?

You get 30 days of free time. AFter that 30 days, you get hit up for your sub and its automatic until you cancel it.

say that you get the game on the 1st : You will get 30 days of free time with your initial purchase of the game. So, one month from that date on the 1st, you will be billed the sub fee. If you go in on the 2nd and cancel your sub, then you will play out the paid month and then lose access until you resub.

You are correct in that it will be up to you to remember to turn the sub on and off on your account though.
