To easy to be fun

This game is far too easy to be fun. As a priest I have almost no chance of losing a member in any of the dungeons tested this last weekend. I can farm mobs and complete quests by group 6 mobs my own level and aoe killing them. We have even dragged the entire dungeon too the boss, killed the entire dungeon while killing the boss and didn’t losing a single person… WTF
To further add to my frustration, the story line appears to be bleak. It’s as if everyone made a zone with no collaboration, then pasted together the zones using a single quest line. How does the first and second dungeon even relate?
Finally the PVP is pointless if you don’t lose your gear or gold when you get killed. There needs to be penalties to death and benefits to killing players; real benefits, not just tokens to buy items.

The entire game is like wow with no storyline. I will play again this coming week and the weeks to come in hopes of finding some true end game content that requires skills to take down however I think this game was created for school girls.
Does anyone else see this?

First of what is your level cause after what your saying it seems to be really low, take your friends out and kill some big a.. monsters and let me see you back here talking about stuff you know nothing about. And your excuse me "retarded" idea about losing your gear when you get killed in PVP is simply the dumbest thing I ever heard seriously you are not here to play this game admit it...you are just here to talk bull.... cause seriously after reading your post... It sounds like you have no f..... idea what PVP, Storyline and everything else you talk about mean...

1. I don't know how you've been playing, but solo'ing BAMs as a Mystic and doing dungeons are fun enough to me. Have you reached anything beyond BoL? I know if I get crit-slapped by a BAM I pretty much nearly-die or do die.

2. Give examples and elaborate.. I don't follow you

3. You do lose gems on your sockets if you die to either pvp or pve, some of these gems cannot be purchased. Rewarding gankers and penalizing those who die TO PVP doesn't seem reasonable, I'd expect reward and risk being added to outlaws, not their victims (this being said by someone who's big on attacking players on other games or becoming black named [max level of infamy points] on other games endangering loss of rare to obtain equipment because they drop off me if I die with such status). We don't need a reason to create more gankers, we need a reason to engage people in pvp (in lieu of just letting gankers, who are currently far and plenty, gank on lowbies for the lulz and implied for your suggestion, possible EASY benefits)

A better suggestion, and I'm yet to see another game do this instead of just piling on penalties upon penalties for pple who want to become Outlaws, would be to give stat BUFFS (not nerfs) depending on your infamy status. Say you never go Outlaw on anyone for a period of time (5hrs, 20 hrs, whatever many hours), you get saintly points and gain some type of defense or evasiveness buff (or whatever). Same benefit if you have a lot of infamy points and becomes super-evil. If you're neither you're just an average Outlaw, go kill for fun, or get killed because you can't toggle off your red name (lol)!

4. Are you actually reading the dialog as you go through content? As far as difficulty, we're not even at max level (60) and not everyone is a hardcore MMO player. While I found this relatively easy I know plenty of people who currently play games that can find this challenging enough to ask for help on BAMs, for example.

I see enough negatives (albeit not elaborated on) in your post that indicate this game may not really be for you. Instead of wasting more weeks on it hoping to search something more, play a more appealing game and check with your TERIAN friends if the game has changed or improved. Or watch some YouTube videos of KTERA, CB, OB at higher levels.

First off, I got level 30 and I killed two players. I didnt focus on the PVP but oppertunity presented itself. I was able to get a gold item in almost all slots by day 2, and did a little of each crafting.

There was more difficult mobs for questing but they only had large HP and hit hard. My friend and I kited them easily because snares worked on them. I certainly saw groups of 5 tank an spank those mobs but didnt see a point to interact with them other than passing a heal once in a while so their tanks wouldnt die.

I may have offended people by calling them school girls, but my point was the game is designed to make everyone happy... By doing this they create a mediocre game with no thrills or sense of ownrship.

Great games to pass:
Ultima Online destroyed to make the masses happy
ShadowBane
DarkFall so hard core it makes ya hard (still a good game but needs better servers and graphics)
WOW destroyed to make the masses happy

Games to come
Guildwars 2... I am skeptical that this game will be good but it may be better than tera. I will play tera till GW2 comes out because I have nothing better to do.

I was just hoping this game would have been more hard core like the original WOW in PVE and more hard core like darkfall/shadowbane for pvp.

I think building a city that benefits your guild/clan. Having geographical regions that if you can lock down and control gives you advantages over other guilds is important. It builds community...

Guildwars 2 is actually going to let you join as many guilds as you want and you can change to what ever guild you want to play n for that day.... talk about making the masses happy.

we ruin the best games

I started playing on Thursday night and I didn't get to level 31 until Monday night (I had to work Monday). I played an average of 12+ hours each on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

I did class quests and zone quests yet I did not get 31 (not max level 32) until Monday night.

Please explain how you managed to get to level 30 (and almost all slots filled with gold gear) in 2 days.

Please elaborate.

The game was a lot harder in Closed Beta... But then the crying babies came......
The company wants to succed so they listened to them and now Tera NA is in easy mode.
At least soloing BAMs are still a little hard.

And they will keep on crying to make things easier even more.
I like the way ESTsoft does their thing. They do not listen to noobs stuff.

He's HARDCORE man. You just can't compete. You need things like sleep, a girlfriend, a job, and of course a LIFE. Learn to rid yourself of these things and you will be as great as him!

In all honesty, hardcore gaming is for scrubs. I like hard games too only play on the highest setting in other games but rushing through stuff only to find there is no later challenge is your own stupid fault.

Vanilla WOW was not hard. Upper BRS key farming was annoying. Resistance gear farming was annoying. If by hard you mean annoying then Vanilla WOW was hard. If you mean really hard, at release Burning Crusade Heroics WERE hard. So hard they nerfed them because they weren't fun. Hard is good as long as it is still fun. That balance is gonna be different for everyone but coming in here screaming about how easy this game is when clearly you haven't seen MUCH of it is stupid.

Race through the game if you want, I game for a challenge and to have fun. Games that I find lack any challenge at all, I don't play. Maybe that's what you need to do.

Blizzard never listened to the community, [filtered]. They've always changed things in their own direction. So don't bring me that bull[filtered], clueless dumbass.

WoW got literally destroyed after signing a contract with Activision.

So basically you want Tera = Lineage 2 + Dark Souls?

As fun as that sounds, the result would be mass amount of people leaving in a few month, followed by server merge after server merge until you're only left with a hand full of people on a single server.

Thanks but no thanks, well I'm sure you're just trolling anyways.
