I love tanking with my Warrior, but I don't see any way of flagging myself as a Tank rather then a DPS in the instance Matching tool. Is there any way flag myself as a Tank/Defender rather then as DPS/Attacker? Or will I always be paired with a Lancer.
It's coming in an update, sometime mid-July/mid-August. It's going live in Korea 7/4 week. Not possible yet, through the instance-matcher.
Could always form your own groups though, and then you can tank as much as you like.
But I want it NOW!

As it's been said, warrior will be able to queue as tank once the update comes. In the update, warriors will supposedly get a block function while lancers will get some more mobility options. Not sure why warriors, which are described in game as able to tank, not made able to. It says it's hard to tank as a warrior but possible. Personally, I consider warrior tanks on the current system as the best players in the whole of Tera(if done properly of course). In my opinion it should stay the way it is, but well, things have to move on.
That's good news. Sure, I know so many warrior players that are dps minded that at first, many parties with such players will have problems. But hopefully, those players will either learn to tank or queue as dps. Still, having warrior tanks available will cut off a lot of queuing time for us full dps players.
Keep in mind, when Minea says they will be able to queue as tanks...they will NOT be getting their new tanking skills at the end of the month (per Knoxxer's Reddit AMA today). That patch will be late July/August...
Once the patch is available, could I use the premium services to change my class to a Warrior and still keep my level?
@ Irlina: I guess for the time being you can LFG instead of LFD if you want to offer tanking services as a Warrior.
