I agree 100%! It would even be nice to have pets of different levels like what dungeon defenders does. They level with you to some extent, but there are always better (and rarer) ones out there.

Pets should be maintained for vanity purposes, not for combat. Once you make them for combat, some people (myself included, WoW pets and Tera Mystic pet) stop paying attention to the game and do other stuff while their pet does everything or tries to.

Does it not battle exclusively with the player all the time? (never played WoW so I have no idea)

WoW had a class that used pets and then they had vanity pets (like a miniature parrot that flew around with you all the time).

Tera's Mystic has "pets" that take aggro, heal, etc...but they are tweaked down so hard that they can't kill something on their own whereas the class with a pet on WoW, you could make it attack and kill on its own (legal botting, in a way).

Thanks for the posts about the Support Tokens and their use. After I had about 16 I checked out the vendor and was shocked haha.

Even though the gear is not tradeable, could you still send via parcel to an alt/sub Character? Or is it limited to just THAT Character?
