Hello, my name is Scrougr (My Always INGAME name). I am a massive MMO-RPG player, and I have just recently left DNEST,WoW, and Aion. I have now come upon Tera, and it seems to look like a beautiful game but yet, I still have a slight look back upon it due to it being a P2P game. People say, ITS WORTH IT DUDE buy it now!! But is it really worth it? I've done the Instant trial no download cause at this moment i do not feel like waiting 12hrs to download this. Due to my internet connection being 10mbs max....... Anyways, It looks like it has an amazing graphic style, but so far that is all im seeing. The combat looks a bit slow and it seems that it will get boring after awhile. but hey idk. I have yet to play. It looks really good. but yet i still am half way convinced about it.

Anyway, I've been playing the trial for two days now and, well, the instant demo really doesn't reflect an accurate picture of the game. It's just throwing you out there with a level 20 character and a preset action bar with very bad directions on how to play. (All they say is go here, talk to x, then go to y, etc).
The combat is anything but slow, it's pretty much the selling point of the game it seems xD, and, in all honesty it makes other games seem boring now. Once you get past the steep learning curve it's really fun- it's pretty much a cross between Monster Hunter and Dynasty Warriors.
As for it getting repetitive I haven't been playing long enough to see.
I dunno if you'll find it worth it enough to buy, but trust me, it's really worth the obscene download to try. :3

But i'm sure is a good game, it's not as good as WORLD OF WARCRAFT but is the best game i

If you haven't, the free 7-day trial is a great way to experience TERA's action combat as others have mentioned. :)
I too am new and downloading the trial version. 8 hours download on a F.O. line, wow, slow download. Tera looks interesting, but I am concerned about the cost. You have to purchase the game, pay a monthly fee, and there are Chronoscrolls which are additional expenses. It looks like this game will nickle and dime players to death.
Second, there are so many online games that people tire easily of, myself included. I am concerned that Tera may follow suit. I have been reading and it's unclear if the demo is fully functional or has bugs from posts that I have read. Is the demo a realistic play experience compared to the full version?
Have you tried the new free to play game on Steam? It's called Vindictus, and it is just like this game with it's battle/fighting system. I'd say try that out if you need a new game atm, and are on the fence about spending money on Tera, and it's pay per month option.
Thanks for the advice. I had previously tried Vindictus and liked it. I am looking for something more, however. Solo play has gotten old and looking for a good MMO. I've tried multiple free to play MMOs, but they loos appeal quickly. I don't mind a p2p as long as it's worth it.

I have been playing this game for about two weeks now, and let me just say that it was worth every penny. Since I started, I have gotten my gf hooked, and my best friend along with his gf.
The combat never seems to get old to me. And there are always a ton of quests to do. If the monthly fee turns you off, they are adding something today called Chronoscrolls. They let you use in game gold to buy an item that adds 1 month to your subscription.
I have been having a blast since I started playing. If you're interested, and you want to play on a PvE server, I recommend Dragonfall. And if you like, you're welcome to join my guild. Poetic Justice.
I have played many f2p games along with WoW and I can honestly say this is the most fun game to me.
