Yeah yeah, I'm one of THOSE people...who plays with an Xbox controller. :) When I go to the controller UI settings, I can see how to make certain things go to certain buttons, but my questions are:

- How do I connect multiple buttons to an action? The UI already shows something like Lower 1: A+B. But all I can ever get is a single button, not a + something else.

- I'm new to MMOs...What is upper 1 2 3 and lower 1 2 3... and such? Are those the actions on the bottom of the screen?

- Pressing the "k" button on your keyboard will bring up the skill list you have, and there is another tab you can click on to set the chain skills.

- To change what a or b button does on the controller, just drag the skill you want to the corresponding spot in the skill bar. That will automatically rebind the skill on the controller as well.

(I'm not sure what upper 1 2 3 and lower 1 2 3 are...

Gos, if u look at the action bar next the the controller UI on the screen u will see 2 rows. Top=Upper bottom=lower.

As you put ur abilities in the those rows the will show up on the corresponding buttons set on ur controller set up.

the Top Left button and Top Right buttons act as page changers for the controller

well if its default. the key combos should be on the controller UI as to (upper 4 or lower 7) and just place the skills in the correct box in the skill box

Its hard for me to explain since im at work, but i changed the controller set up a bit.

I set all the lower row and left/right/tab as my attack skills. and set the Top Left Button as my lower row modifier. The top row as my buff/debuff abilities and used Top Right button as the modifier.

so its something like Left Top button + A-Y, then Left Top Button and the Directionals, and i also use the triigger on the opposite side cause its easier to hit and also use the push ins on the control sticks. id take a pic for u later if it helps

Cpyro - I appreciate your help so much.. but I don't really understand what you said :) I"m at the point I'd freaking pay someone a fiverr to help walk me through the controller setup and put stuff where I want it and explain how the different rows of functions work. I'm so new it hurts! :(

Hit the Back button on your controller.

Scroll down to where it says Main 1 (where auto attack is)
Click the area to the right, push a button on your controller (lets say A)
Hit Enter
Hit Apply

Now auto attack is on A

Same thing with other skills.

If you have a skill in UPPER 1
find UPPER 1 on you list you see after hitting BACK on your controller and repeat the above steps

now that skill is on that controller's button.

NOTE. The controller will reflect what's on the skill bar. You can lay out all your skills, then assign those skill bar slots onto the controller. Same thing with potions and rez scrolls. What ever IS in upper 1, etc will then show up in that little controller UI if it's done right.
