A Tough Day at En Masse

Today, we had to let go of some of the great talent at En Masse Entertainment. While a tough decision, it was necessary as we prepare for the next chapter of our business. TERA has been a great launch for us, and we are committed to you guys, our loyal players. We’re taking measures to align the needs of our business to continue supporting TERA and preparing for our future. We are working with those affected by this transition, including offering assistance on new prospects within the industry/area. Rest assured this doesn’t change our plans for awesome game updates and support, including the huge Argon Queen update later this month.

Best of luck to Scapes and everyone else affected with finding new employment. If those guys happen to be reading, will you still be playing Tera in your off-times, or browsing the forums here?

I hope you are just being nice and saying they are great. Should really only let those that are not doing their job well enough go.
Either way hope you guys to listen to some of the things we as a community want, 100% open BGs ^.^, and best of luck finding a new job in this economy.

To Scapes and those who also are not longer with EME, I know the gaming industry is a tough place to work but I hope that this experience only helps you move on to something better for you personally.

Thanks for whatever part you played in giving people like myself an enjoyable distraction to the RL MMO. I wish you all well and hope you find your next great title soon.

So what the [filtered] is going on in EME? How about some transparency? Your community managers are important to us. In case you haven't noticed they are the face of the company. I was hoping that you guys could do this right. Instead we see you pulling the same [filtered] head moves that NCSoft pulled previously.

So who does this leave for our interface to EME/BHS? The marketing VP?

So when do we go F2P? You have set off alarm bells here, as the only logical time to go F2P is before a big expansion.

How about you skip the bull [filtered] corporate circle jerk. Knock this back online to its original side bar and run it up the flag pole. Ping your VP of Greasing up the plebs and tell him that this low hanging fruit is starting to shrivel. Air out the laundry circle the wagons get the ball rolling with some traction and tell us what your plans are before we get out of dodge.

Can you understand that at least?

Good luck to all those affected. There is no need to be nasty. Remember a good portion or most of the decisions were finalized by BHS, not EME.

That's BlueHole Studios, not EnMasse.

From my knowledge on how these work. EnMasse is a branch of BHS with less then 50-100 people in it..now shortened a bit. They shouldn't be making massive content or any content for that matter. That's BHS job and that's how to blame for the 'bad game' if you will.

Sad to see EnMasse a new company getting this so soon D: good luck to all of those that were laid off.

How exactly does EME justify allowing these types of posts? It's not respectful nor follows forum rules. It disrespects the company, employees - at a tough time - and disrespects your players.

And you let it remain untouched? I just subbed and I'm not particularly thrilled that these types of posts seem to be ignored. Do you think you are earning brownie points with your players? No.

Best wishes to all affected. But show concern for your customers will ya?
