Don't get me wrong I want this done right and I am in this for the long term, but this is big news. We're gonna be max level within a week and be fully geared out within 2 weeks. I guess we can have block parties in Velika.

You're right, people have become more fickle, shallow, and impatient. This is the welfare generation of MMO'ers. It's what ruined WoW. It's the ever increasing appetite to be satisfied NOW that reigns, and no matter how much it's fed, it will never be satiated.
The "I canceled my pre-order" posts are the exact type of people that I'm glad are being filtered out. The community that evolves out of this will be much better off without you, so thank you for canceling, and move on to post all your negativity on some other forums.
Kaluminati on 03/27/2012, 07:47 PMI remember many a times when WoW was first released of just a ton of fun at Tarren Mill. We had nothing but OWPVP upon release and we loved it. There was no raid content on release. The 40 man dungeons weren't even raid instances and the game continued to evolve. The first BGs for WoW weren't even released until June 7th, over 6 months after launch and I'm pretty certain the game did just fine!
There is so much doom and gloom on these forums it's almost entirely pointless visiting here because you can't help but walk away feeling like the game will fail. This game is amazing. Sure there is fine tuning that needs to take place. That comes with any MMO.
All of you dumpsters on these forums with dorito specked claws and a mouthful of cheetos about to be washed down with some Mt. Dew, do us all a favor and keep your professional negative opinions to yourself. 90% of the remarks on here contain more whining and [filtered]ing than a high school girls locker room. Either provide constructive feedback and/or suggestions, or S T F U!
This isn't 2004. People change. Expectations change. You can't expect someone to follow the same footsteps of games from the past and have the same results, you have to go above and far, far beyond.

It only sucks that BHS got behind on their schedule, these patches were supposed to be out months ago. Since they got behind with them we all have to wait now. Honestly, I don't think this is as big a deal people are making it out to be.
The BG's would have gotten complaints anyway. I know for a fact people would have QQ'd about that queue system lol.
Well I dun want to run around ganking people. There's no point in such easy encounters.
And most of the time guild wars, fighting over world bosses, etc, just comes down to who has more people. And actually playing in one is just a massive zerg without much strategy or skill.
The two are fun, in moderation, but imo not the main PvP.
W/e I'll still get Tera, because I've already put so much work into it... -.-
But if I knew Tera was not going to launch with battlegrounds one or two months earlier I would've went with GW2. GJ on deceiving me at least EME.

It could be a month or two, but I'm betting it's going to take 3 months after launch. This is an awful business decision imo, they shoulda just given us the patch that preceded Queen of Argon and added QoA stuff later on in the summer when it was all complete. While the old BGs weren't perfect, they were atleast something. Servers will be empty by the time QoA p2 rolls around because of this half baked [filtered]. I wouldn't be surprised if many people cancel their preorders because of this.
I think people are forgetting the fact that the current system is not good enough lol. Should look on the bright side. The new BG's should be a lot nicer than what K tera originally got. a month or 2 is not that big of a wait honestly.

I don't like what I'm hearing about this at all. But out of three games
Diablo 3, Guild wars 2, and Tera? One of these games better be good or I'll probably just give up on gaming all together.

A couple months is nothing. Period. It will go by in a flash, and Tera will not fail or die because of it.
In the future, if you plan to get up in arms about a game and threaten to cancel, just do it without crying a river on the forums for attention.
Us true PvPers will find plenty of things to keep us entertained. Tera will be that much better for the small wait on them ACTUALLY recognizing problems right away and getting them fixed. I don't want a broken system. I can easily wait until the more polished content is released.
TL;DR Doom-and-gloomers, get the hell off our forums. Silly GW2 fanbois.

My suggestion would be to give us the old maps/Bg content until the new one comes out. Unless there was a game changing exploit that was occurring within BG's I can't see the downside of implementing the old ones until they are revamped in KR.
