ROFL does this mean that people can find the exact same mount they just paid $25 for FREE!?!?
If so I'm SO glad i decided not to buy it. Hopefully it's not the same mount or some people are going to be maaaaaaad

Very good. I don't have a problem with you selling costmetic items if they are also available in game as well.

While I am not inconvenienced in the slightest by the time frames EME chose for this event, I have to admit that those who are do indeed get a bit screwed over. I must ask what the possible reason could be for not allowing this event to occur 24 hours in the day, rather than at specific times? And, if their isn't a valid and rather understandable reason, why not extend the time frames of the event to accommodate all players?

I think 5-9pm pst is pretty good... finally catering to people who have dang jobs. I get off at 5pm and take an hour to get home. Its not like I am going to be out farming eggs for a whole hour. So this sounds ok to me.


Just because YOU work 9-5 doesn't mean EVERYONE does. I work 3-11pm i also work weekends. Trust me I also have a "dang job" but my job has different working hours. As I said earlier not everyone works cushy 9 to 5'vers with weekends off. This schedule just screws those of us that work night or afternoon shifts. I still would love to know why this can't just be 24/7 and solve the issue.

Any reason why the event is not available throughout the day for weekdays?

So after deciding to have a ninja maintenance on Oceanic prime time last week on a Friday night, now you have decided it's time to hold an event that does not work well for Oceanic players.

I'm not a player that complains much, but seems like the company is trying really hard to upset the Oceanic players.


Sorry to say this BUT NA company NA servers... So not seeing your argument here

You come to a NA based company that supports NA and expect them to base there events around other time zones but the NA ones? Or a time zone that the company is not in. You should known this when playing on the NA servers that they will base stuff more for NA player base. Yes they open it to the public but doesnt mean they will base things for players out side the NA

Most MMOs that do events have them accessible 24 hours a day for those who live in different regions and/or work at different times. I missed out on some events during beta because I had to work different schedules, and the same is happening now. Events such as this with limited duration each day screw over many players in many ways. Bath/bed time for kids? Family supper time? Not everyone playing is able to park in front of the computer and have hours of uninterrupted time, at the specific hours listed.

Are people required to participate in the event? No. However, many will regret not being able to participate, and may view the game a little(or a lot) more negatively. People remember things like that, and over time those feelings may convince them they might be happier playing another game.

As far as the eggs that were removed at launch I never had a problem with them existing, and this event is rather insulting to anyone who fought to keep them in-game permanently.

Aww. I'm a sad panda. I'm having eye surgery that day and won't be able to play for awhile afterwards. :(

Ah well, there will be other opportunities I hope! If you get to be one of the lucky ones involved with this event, I think it would be really exciting!
