What's so hard about canceling hard copy preorder and just preorder the digital? If you don't want to deal with the hassle of worrying, just cancel the one in store and get the digital preorder. Problem solved. Too bad for the people that can't I guess?


I don't want to feel like I am being forced to order It that way. As was stated 5 dollars down seems like a better way to go for alot of people, that and alot of other reasons. I know It's a boon for them If people order from there store since all funds are collected up front to be part of the betas and headstart.

@Doggystyle, if I know I'll get the code in time to DL and install, I wouldn't bother. I like having a physical copy of a game. I'd rather not use my credit card if I don't have to. But if EME/Atari were to make an announcement apologizing and saying the codes wouldn't be delivered in time for Friday, then I would just cancel the physical preorder and get the one from EME's store.

That's what I'm waiting to hear.

why bother getting the hole game if u want a hard copy they should have told every one this issue before they even made it where every 1 could get into the beta tests if you pre order kinda lame if you ask me. its allmost like there trying to make us pay for the game online full price rather then 5 dollars kinda fishy!!!!!!!

but if its going to be hard to get into the beta tests because us people that pre ordered the hard copy from retail stores enmasse said to get them from should have had something said like this. not garanteed to enter beta tests with pre order hard copys from retail stores. because thats whats its seaming like atm. but i hope not.

I have done other MMO's that have offered the same ALL betas and Headstart. I did the retail offer and had no problems, It should be the same here.

I went to Gamestop today to talk to the manager there, and I am personally still the only reason she even knows what Tera Online is. She has still not heard anything from Atari about codes.

I let her know that if they don't have codes in by Thursday evening, I'd have to cancel the pre-order, and she understood completely. She said this kind of thing isn't rare, and sometimes they end up getting the codes the day of the start of beta.

I just think it's a bit crazy that the only reason the manager of Gamestop knows about this game is because of ME. I'm their only pre-order.

pretty sad when atari is one of enmasse helpers and they dont do nothing plus this is the first beta and stuff for this game and things like this go wrong pretty sad lol

That is a travesty.

We need to organize a Tera flash mob or something...
