I am indifferent about the boxes, and I see the BoP as an insignificant change that can prevent RMT, and should prevent exploitation of the market and provide a better game environment overall. Chronoscrolls are a great idea, as they have worked wonderfully in EVE Online as PLEX. Offering gamers a chance to buy and sell gametime, some play for free while others simply use it to get some gold(ISK). I would hope to see more MMOs adapt this in the future to give players an option.
The Player/pet shops were nothing but a hindrance option to turn them off or not. They split the economy into 2, they crowded the cities, forcing legit buyers to lag just to search for hours through the shops for an item when they could just as easy gone to the Broker and got the item there. By removing them the market is in one place allowing easier access to items, no lag, and no 3 hours searching for an item.
I give you props for foreseeing the need to remove that useless pile of junk that plagued this, and other MMOS from the Asia region.
The people complaining obviously like doing things the old, slow, and quite honestly stupidly inefficient way. The main changes I am on the fence about it the chat filter(need a way to turn it off if it is not already) and the changes to Elin, I mean I can see why, but at the same time its not right to change that when only a small perverted group wants to take them for what they are not.
But alas, not a huge deal, I can live with it, and I am looking forward to the OBT today.
