+1 for removing pet stores. If you learn how to use the Auction House system, it will take you a fraction of the time to find exactly what you're looking for. Opposed to visiting literally dozens of stores. Let's just try to keep the cost of using the AH at a minimum.

+1 for being stupid and ignorant... If all you wanted from a game was to use the AH then just use the AH and ignore the pets.

Options is what you people screamed for and you all let them take away more and more options..... LOL you guys are [filtered]-ed

Umm... How exactly is that going to work? Is there a roll for loot setting that I've never seen? Can we somehow appraise items on the ground before picking them up that I've never noticed? The only thing I've noticed about loot is that it's randomly assigned to players in group. No one stops to look and examine it before picking it up. I've never had to roll for something I need, it's just been "Oh here, this is for rangers <link> do you need it?" So... how exactly is this going to work? Is there at least a trade timer like in Aion? Unless there are group setting I've been missing (I'm never lead). BOP items you can't use = nothing more than vendor trash for most people.

loot can been rolled on. you set it for your loot options, right as somebody goes to pick it up you get a window with the gear in it. you can see the stats and either roll for it or give it up, you can base the system for class specific or party wide.

you can re-identify loot if you dont get the stats you want. you reseal it and try to identify it again.

they only said its BoP now. not any other changes to the system. no point throwing a tantrum if they changed the drop rates to match this new change. so getting more gear for enchants might not be a problems.

no point in jumping to conclusions.

I didn't know any of that. Thank you :)

We've been working hard on bringing TERA to North America, and have also had a hand in shaping TERA specifically with our gamers in mind.

Sorry, but so far you have been shaping the game to make it as much a wow-clone as possible, looking over the last year's changes and/or hints about changes.

Removed private stores – we removed private stores from TERA so we could make the broker system the central hub of the player economy. We’ve increased the limit of items that can be sold from 8 to 50 and think this will help players to go to one place to find whatever they need

It already was central. You changed it from central to the only possibility.

By their very nature shops - they are meant for materials, consumables, exquisite items, large batch sales where unconstrained quantity is important - naturally complementing the AH.

What about buying ? what about avoidng taxes ? What about opening shops in places without broker ? What about no quantity constraints ? What about social/personal element ? What about players wanting from time to time to stress a few braincells ?

Anyone that was bothered with shops, could simply turn them off. One checkbox click and poof. It was simple win-win solution. And yet you managed to screw even that.

Implemented Bind on Pickup (BoP) items – For some items, we’ve implemented a BoP system which lets us give better equipment to players without having to worry as much about RMT farming items.

RMT has nothing, or ever had anything to do with it. BoP is not used (or ever was meant as such) to be a countermeasure against farmers. It's a constraint forcing people to rerun the same minimal content over and over again. Mindlessly.

It's YOUR JOB job to keep the RMT out of the game. Get the lazy "GM"s and make them DO something - like ban obvious farmers and even more obvious shops of theirs. Opening your own RMT business (chronoscrolls), banning large chunk of the world's IPs (with technically clueless/delusional and on top of that - stereotypical excuses) or dumbing down the game is not a solution.

Furthermore, you completely forgot about enchantment fodder - this stuff is supposed to be tradable and used up.

Removed Boxes of Mischief – I personally have a negative winning streak with these, and overall we felt that it was a chance based system that frustrated more players than it benefited.

'we' or 'you' ? 'felt' or actually bothered asking anyone ? Was anyone forced to use boxes ?

There are a lot more changes and enhancements that we’ve been working on, and as we get closer to our OBT and Launch we’ll keep sharing what we’re doing so y’all know what to expect and give us feedback.

I get cold shivers even wondering what else you are planning to break or dumb down.

What's the point of the feedback, if you don't care about it ?

IP blocks ? chat filter ? elins ? and now BoP changes ? shops' removal ? item removals ? other of your awesome ideas ?

Want a feedback ? Very well. As it's impossible to reason with your (or Knox's, or whoever else's) "best ever" ideas - consider opening "classic" KTera server, without your westernization ideas and enforced babysitting, including at the very least:

- no BoP changes
- no shops' removal
- no (already insanely blazing fast in KR) XP curve changes
- without sensless items removal
- with strict KTera pvp ruleset
- without chat censorship

And other things you consider breaking (consider using in-game questionaries FIRST, before deciding about anything - how hard could that be ?).

Wanna please your playerbase ? Show it. And don't forget about Europe.

Fully agree with above.

EME maybe you should consider:
REMOVING Fortune Eggs since they give you RANDOM rewards?
Item stats after identification are also RANDOM, so remove "Enigmatic" items.
REMOVE enchanting, it's too RANDOM.
Anything else is RANDOM? Just remove it.

I have feeling that you somehow mistook "westernization" for "castration" of the game...

There is two main reasons to play Tera.

1. The incredible graphics.
2. The open world non-faction PvP.

I can tell you right now if the PvP system is limited too much I will stick with playing other things.

I'd rather you did not turn off features of the game, but rather just add them.

You make it sound as if it's one or the other. What do you care what I do with my time? You don't close down all the mini-marts in a city because super walmart happens to be a more convenient and cheaper place to find and buy everything. That's ridiculous. If you don't like the player stores then turn them off and don't use them. Use the AH and buy what's on there. Everyone knows the pro's and con's of selling on the AH vs a Store. It's up to them to decide which they would like to use or not to interact with. Forcing someone to do one or the other by removing one system is downright silly. You're not forced to shop at stores if you don't want to. Your not even forced to look at them, as you can turn them off. However, you are forcing everyone to use your preferred method.
