Game Guide: Guilds

A guild is in essence a large group of people who have banded together to play, but are also working towards a larger goal. Being part of a guild is not only an easy way to keep track of your friends and have a pool of people you know to play with, but guilds also play an integral part in TERA's political system.

Forming a guild is fairly simple. The minimum requirements are two people in a group, a party leader who is at least level eight and has 30 silver in inventory. The party leader should speak to the Guild Manager NPC in Velika, located in the southeast corner of the Plaza of the Huntress. The party leader will choose the guild's name, and become its first guildmaster.

Will there ever be more levels for guilds?

Moreover, will there ever be guild housing?

Will there be more options for the guild master and people that are ranked as co-leaders and officers?
Also will they be putting anything in for guild raiding, like for people to accept that there going or not going to the raid. Will you be putting in any kinda calendar system that could also help for setting up raid dates or any Activities that the guild would like people to join and be apart of.
Such as who can take out certain things in the guild bank, specific things. Such as officers can take out anything, but members can only take out items and not money.

Also will the MoTD be fixed? I can't post anything really in the guild MoTD.

Really disappointed to see that these questions have gone unanswered since this topic was posted. The game is really nice, but finding out information about the various aspects of it and whatnot, to include guild information, is nothing short of one giant pain in the arse!

The fact that there is not more information already available about every aspect of the game, is sorely disappointing. Yes, it is initial launch, but c'mon. It's not like the information doesn't exist. Get with the program Enmasse!

I agree that more feedback from EME about guilds would be welcome. I'm not an officer in a guild, just a member. But guilds don't seem well supported by EME at this point from what I've seen.

I would specifically like to see more support from EME for ways the guild can raise gold/resources. Some rewards to the guilds for the accomplishment of their members would be very helpful to create a sense of value and community among members and their guild, imo.

And I haven't heard of any benefit to my guild if I do guild quests. I would like to see something go back to my guild every time I complete a quest and I would especially like to see that each time I complete a guild quest.

I am kind of dissapointed so far in the way that the guild ui and such is setup. As a guild leader I have very little control in delegating what can be done with each rank in my roster and how those ranks affect the guild. There are 3 things that I can allow the guild ranks to do and one of them is access the guild bank. But if I enable this then they can access everyting in the bank including money and all items. There are no restrictions that I can put in place at all to limit the amount of items/money taken out once this is enabled. In the long run this could turn around and bite me and other guild members in the tail if I allow the wrong person access to the guild bank. I should have more options to set access and restrictions by rank not just all access once it is enabled. The other problem I have is that there are only 3 options to delegate ranks withing the guild. I'm not unhappy with the game by any means , but I would definitely like to see more appreciation for the guild aspect of the game besides vanarchy being the only focus. Not all guilds have vanarchy in their grasp or will ever for that matter. But there are those of us that are focused on maintaining a quality play environment for our members. The fact that there is an achievement for joining x amount of guilds is kind of insulting to those of us that are decent guild leaders. It's basically saying you promote guild hoppers. It's kind of a slap in the face. All in all I just feel that you should look at the bigger picture of the gaming community in regards to guilds instead of the marketing aspect of the political system. But alas I am only one voice and may never be heard...
