Can we enter the servers yet?. Since I made my character on VoT I have not been able loging any server not even for previewing purposes.
Somewhere in one of these threads I remember one of the reps saying the reason they were doing the incremental bumps in caps was because they didn't think they could get a fix out before the end of ECC.
I'm not sure if that's still the case....I wouldn't think it'd be THAT hard of a fix but either way we might not see it until OB or later, so don't hold your breath...
I am quite dissapointed that we only had about 25 minutes or so to get on VoT to delete our character.
I fully intended to leave the server and lighten the load and yet I couldn't make it in time. This seems rather strange. Basically been SoL to switch servers and save my name for early name reservation now.
I am clearly not alone. Can we please get a fix to this before OB? It just doesn't seem right. We need to be allowed to delete and move, or else what is the point of the name reservation?

Okay I got to page 10 of this thread, and I cannot bare to read anymore without posting. So I apologize in advance for not taking in anything insightful someone may have said past that page.
#1: Early Character Name Reservation is a privilege and should be treated as such. EME is not required to even do this. The very fact they are doing this is already service to the fans, so if you couldn't take advantage of this service then "its just way it is". For example you cannot blame a band offering free T-shirts at their concerts just because you did not make it in time to receive this LIMITED perk.
#2: EME does not have to accommodate for the guilds and friends you've made outside of this game. It is impossible to do so even though they are still trying to do something to help this problem. You should be thankful they are doing anything at all. If you did not get in the window for this then "its just your luck I'm sorry". Please do not tell me that the guild you join in CBT is the reason for your whining because I know the people you meet every other weekend for five weekends are not so important to you that you HAVE to play with them.
#3: Early Character Name Reservation is for people who wants to reserve their favored name early (like the event's name implies). It is merely cosmetic part of early launch. I am 99.9% sure that there will be space for your giant guilds when launch. The only thing that is happening now is that your guild mates cannot reserve a name on the server they want, so why not reserve a name on a different server? You may end up leaving your guild and moving all your characters to the server where your originally named character is on. It does not change the fact that you will be playing together with whoever you want at launch.
#4: I do not understand why people are asking for an edit option or a server change button. YOUR CHARACTER IS LEVEL 1! Just delete it and make a new one at OBT. In OBT you run the risk of losing your name if you take too long to create another one. It is just a fact you have to live with. Protip: create another character on lower pop. server, get all your details straight, write down the number for each slider option, delete your named character, and then speed through character creation. This way you can lower that risk. As for me I avoided this problem by trying ALL possible races and class combination that could have been remotely interesting during CBT (I cannot tell you how many times I leveled to 12). I saved my top four choice's slider configuration, and I made my character extremely fast when name reservation begun. I even had time to delete and tweek it before the server population of VoT rose pass recommended. Goes to show your what being prepared will do for you.
#5: I am however dismayed at the fact people can't go in and delete their characters on VoT. Like many others I am locked inside VoT. I did not even get into the window to delete my character. I feel that players being locked-in servers will make it more difficult for EME to balance servers, but as mentioned by the admins they are trying to fix this problem. This is the only VALID complaint here.
~Now if these issues and complaints persists after the game's launch then it will be a very serious problem, but as of right now your complaints are not thought out or reasonable.
