what on earth do you mean - bluehole is possibly renting the server.


Most game developers rent "Datacenters" where the servers are physically located. The game runs them and the Developer uploads the game to the server and administers it remotely, Normally but not always.

For reference Valley of Titans was more than double any server when it hit the cap. I would very much encourage you to create characters on other servers where there is still plenty of space.


Knoxxer, you need to open up the servers, even if they're full. Guilds are trying to get all their members on the same server. You can't expect people to make a character on another server, when there entire guild is on VOT or JC. I know you would like to see an even population on all servers, but if you have been watching the guild forums lately, you will see that guilds have chosen a server. Vot and JC are the top two pvp servers that guilds have chosen, and it isn't right to force people to a low pop server.



I agree that extremely illegal, given that we buy a product and we can not so well understand how the company should provide all apparatus to support all players regardless of server.

We have increased the max number of spots available on Valley of Titans to help alleviate a bug we are seeing with character deletion. We urge those of you who wish to move off this server to use this window of time to delete your character and choose another server.

The reality is that this server is much more crowded than the other servers and will continue to be crowded from now until after launch. This is a great time to go to another server that has plenty of room and players eager to battle with you.

This I have to agree with.. especially since only pre-orders are allowed to reserve names.. WTH is the point in pre-ordering if you can't even play with your guild?

Who ever was in charge SHOULD NOT HAVE put a cap on reservations... that is just silly.. If anything you should've put it when it opens so you don't have more people flooding the server.. It is the right of the people who has pre-ordered to have the pick of their choice.. This first come first serve should only apply to name reservations not a spot for what server you want to play on. As for new players they would automatically make a char on a slightly less populated server then one you would need to que for since they have no obligation to guilds and starting fresh. At least that is what I would do.. why the hell wait for 30min to get on a server when i can just click and play on another..

As for all pre-orders.. I'm pretty certain 80% of us if not more already have pre - obligations to guilds / friends we wish to play with.. This is silly to crap on your fellow supporters who have already purchased the game even before it's launch...

The only thing I'm worried about is being able to remake my character with the appropriate slider settings before VoT goes to full status again. I might end up locked out in the middle of it all.

Thanks for your consideration to increase the max number of spots on VoT; however has your team addressed the issue with being locked in the server once it reaches "Full" status again?
