Why the hell cant you guys just manually delete our character for us when we contact live support -.-
Ive seen F2P games fix this within hours, wth are you guys having issues >.>
I have a life, i have a job so i cant possibly be there during those times, so im stuck waiting for OB to change servers? God i paid to be able to premake a character x.x
I can see why it's taking them longer to fix the problem of getting into a server to delete the character....though what I can't understand is how this was just discovered now. I mean, that should have been easily picked up in testing. Attempt to create character on full server, note the results. Would think being locked out of ALL servers would have been pretty obvious.
Oh, but as for QQ about the times, no one cares. They're opening up slots in the afternoon on a weekend, and at night on a weekday. That should cover for people with different work schedules.
Covers it for americans yeh (as always) the rest of the world will be working during both sessions-as both are on weekdays for the rest.

Thought typical working days for Aussies were M-F too, same for Canadians, unless you're hailing from somewhere else?
Either way of course they're going to cater to the majority of their customer base, they'll never be able to make everyone happy.
Edit: Assuming time zone diff. If you're Australia, think that would still put you at 5AM Monday for Sunday's 12PM slot right? Should still be doable.

Don't even need to delete the char the first time. Once they bump up the cap you can use the character creator even if you have your toon created already. Once the cap is hit, then you can't.

I assume he still needed time to play around with character creator. Otherwise he shoulda just did it right the first time around.
Since the exact time is announced, I'm thinking the window of opportunity each time cap is raised will be fairly small.

Nah he did it right. He wanted to reserve his name so he took the defaults and created it (same thing I did) with the intention of deleting/recreating it later when things died down. Just didn't anticipate the server being capped so soon (and neither did I).
So anyhow, what you said is right, cept for the delete part. Tomorrow when they bump the cap, use the character creator and write down your settings. Then Monday night, delete and recreate quickly.
