It's really TERAable that you guys teased us with a feature and then removed it before even letting players try it out yet.

EME, it's great to listen to the community, but understand that the opinions are not based on experience with this feature.

Please let us try FIRST and decide later. I don't see how this feature could destroy from the time of release until first patch.

Give it a chance eh?

Thanks!

Common sense about the feature tells us that the bonuses will discourage guild/friend groups because people will be punished for doing so (because they will not receive the bonuses).

Testing is unneeded. The result of this feature is one of those things that can be foreseen and be 100% correct.

Nobody has even tried the system out on the NA servers and you're already removing it...because of some vocal people on the forums? Disturbing

Exactly. This specific case isn't that much of big deal and never was. It's more the example it sets for complainers and ensures a never ending stream of tears. I guarantee you basically everyone that complained about the buffs and rewards didn't even know what they were.

What's next? Make the dungeon finder search limited to players within a 10m radius because someone posted a subjective misinformed wall of text? The best thing they can do is not read the forums at all until some time after launch, when you know, people have actually played the damn game.

Yes... that's why they should wait a while after launching the full game before listening to QQs and making significant changes in the game based on them.. You're completely right on that the majority of those who complained did not even know more than 20% of how the system worked... I'm ready to bet on that

Lol what makes you think you are more informed than every1 else?

The LFD tool is exactly that. A tool! It is a reward within itself! This is a great change and shows EME is making educated descisions based on listening to the community!

If you want a reward, finish the instance!

Good job!

Just the items and buffs are being removed. We have a brand new economy and need to gradually balance it for the west. Between your feedback and this blank slate we think this is a good starting point.

Wait wait wait, so does that mean that the cool-down timer on dungeon is still being cut in half when using LFD?

They are removing the bonus for LFD matching groups over guild or friend teams. Whatever the bonus is, it does not make sense. Unlike enchantment system which involves a lot of economical details, this is not something which can't be argued after the game is launched.

Also, EME made the decision by themselves, not just following whatever players complained. You can see that they only made this change despite a lot of other complaints till now.

I don't care that the rewards or buffs were removed. It's not a big deal to me -- never was.

What is a big deal is the number of you who see absolutely no reason to be in a guild group if you can get a single enchant powder from being with randoms, and somehow consider that 'easy mode'.

So this is the 'community'. A group of people who are angry because, in their minds, they are 'forced' to not run with other people they know -- a CLEAR AND DISTINCT advantage -- so they can get an extra enchantment powder if they clear the dungeon with randoms. IOW...a group of people who are content to throw their guildmates to the wind and consider their presence less useful than a powder that can be purchased for the cost of a few mobs.

Good job sticking up for 'community', you leeching vultures. Now stop whining.

It being cross server negates a lot of social community building, due to the fact you may never see or hear from a person you party with after the instance is finished.

Glad to see the buffs removed, but the cross server aspect is the one part of it I dislike the most. We'll just have to wait and see how well the community works with it come open beta.

As other players have stated, LFD tool is meant to shorten the time it takes for casual players to get into a dungeon. This makes sense.

With no buffs or items being given, using the LFD tool becomes optional and those of us who would like to avoid PUGs or would rather group with people from our server can do so without feeling gimped.

They're trying to find the right balance for both player types. That's alright by me.
