seriously? boo !@#$ing hoo noone gets exclusives if we all get the same stuff. I !@#$ing hate the way that term has become synonymous with gaming. Offer the same stuff to everyone and you find out who really wants to support your game on its merits and not the extra shinies you offer ( or don't offer in Capcoms case).
I am very happy to get some premium item skins for essentially doing nothing special. Regardless or whether they suit everyone's personal taste, it is a great gesture.
People need to learn to accept gifts with gratitude and not complain so much. It is a sign of maturity and benefits the giver just as much as the receiver.

This just proves how ignorant some of the whiners are. You are saying to give the same thing to everyone to "find out who really wants to support your game on its merits"... well, here's the thing: we only found out about the skins the day before the game's release. Everyone that already pre-ordered and was going to buy the game before already did so, while most that bought the game after wouldn't do it because of the skins and those that bought the game after won't care that much about the skins. Seriously: I'd like to see any reasonable and rational person that can explain why they would or would not buy the game solely based on free exclusives offered within the first month.
Seriously people: you are getting free stuff for doing exactly what you were going to do before anyways! Yes, little Timmy didn't get the exact same toy as little Johnny, but are you going to be immature children and cry about it while ignoring the fact that you were given a toy for free?

Give me the option of which ones i want. I still don't understand why they needed to be different. if the same golden set was the only set available for both markets then there wouldn't be a problem would there? NO, there wouldn't. Yes you would have people complaining its a lame offering. My problem is that they are different enough to warrant a complaint on my part. I do NOT want the golden skins. I WANT the non golden skins. Im a customer with a complaint. happens all the time. the thing about it is if enough people cimplain about the same issue with a company, that company usually does what it needs to do to assuage the customers before they jump ship. Worked in CS retail long enough to learn this is how it works. is this big enough to make people leave TERA? maybe not, but coupled with other issues people are having, then yea it might become a part of it.

And I want the Golden skins and do not want the non-golden skins. However, here's the thing, as I keep asking and everyone is ignoring it: are these skins obtainable in any way, shape or form in kTERA?
If kTERA has the skins available, BOTH SKINS, then how are they obtained? If they are both obtained through in game means, then you have your answer of what might happen. They said we get them for free, but you never know if they don't just add them as templates through Rep rewards or through the Dark Rifts. We get the ones for every weapon for free forever, and others have to work towards it.
If kTERA has neither skins, then it's most likely EME and Frogster that made the skins. In which case: two different companies, two different rewards, nothing you can really do.

Seriously, I've worked in CS as well, and there are always those that complain no matter what. Those are the people that would actually resort to even mentioning the free gifted skins, I'll say it again, FREE GIFTED SKINS as a reason for them quitting the game. Those people, provided they don't have other valid reasons for leaving, would have probably left anyways, or at least said they would and still be playing anyways.
The attitude of "someone's is whining/complaining, give them everything they want" is not only harmful in a business environment, but it's harmful otherwise as well. Do you have and children? If your children cry and demand something unreasonable, do you just give it to them, or do you reason/explain to them why they can have it (or can't have it yet)?
Honestly, giving compensation for mistakes is something that should be done with the compensation being proportionate to the problem. However, not liking the FREE GIFT you were given because little Timmy over there has a FREE GIFT that you like better is just simply childish and primitive.
