Lol not only do we get the golden [filtered] skins and not the good EU versions, but they will possibly be a temporary skin change to boot (unless other wise stated) great insensitive. Almost made me reach in to my pocket to pull out my Credit Card

See thats my question is if they have a limited lifespan like the korean versions. I'd assume they'd just be infinitly renewable as they'd probably just be in the account bound section of your item claim, but it is interesting if they'd have a lifespan or not. If they only last a limited number of days or are perminant it might give us a bit of a glimpse of what we'll have to deal with if they decide to port over the cash shop from K-Tera for costume items.

Personally i hope they're perminant for the sake of tedium of reapplying them every month and the fact that i really dislike the idea of items i buy with real money being temporary.

again, go play EU version with poor support and radical censorship if you want 3 dollar cosmetic items so bad.

Me, I will say thanks and take what I have here.

Has no one thought about the fact the Frogster is desperate and offering a ton of items to try and make EU players stay with them rather than come to NA? From what I have gathered, after the bloody weekend Frogster had a ton of canceled orders, and a lot of them came over here.

Ok, I'm confused. If you buy the game and subscribe now, you get the skins right away? But If you already purchased the game and subscription, ou get the items at the end of the initial first "free with perchase" month?

Or is it, either way, you get the skins after the first free month? I am confused by your wording.


ummm, "Already purchased your TERA subscription? Thank you! You will receive the Golden Dragon weapon skins when your initial 30 days of game time ends and your subscription billing begins."

Reading comprehension is hard. Are they teaching kids anything in our schools now?

Lol wow, this statement really hit home. I remembered seeing TERA for the first time early 2009, then joined this community when it was launched late of 2009. Have seen several website changes, a well-known moderator leave for personal reasons, and played FGT and CPE. So many memories, so many things that went on which led to this crucial point in time: the official launch.

Ok since some of you still cant read ill clarify a few things for you....

1) All you have to do is buy the game and subscribe before MAY 31st 2012 doest matter from where.

2) These skins will be in your ACCOUNT bound item claim and can be used as many times as you want. Just like the rings and mounts. You can claim 100 of these items if you want doesnt matter.

3) You will recieve these items after YOUR first 30 day trial ends which means as soon as YOUR PAID subscription starts.

Quit whining oh I want this and that ect, yeah I would love an eye patch/mask/glasses too BUT the EU players had to have bought the game from frogster to get thier items, so if they bought it from ANY source OTHER than frogster they are screwed.

Who knows EME might have rewards later for other things like how long you have been subbed or playing so we might still see other cool cosmetic items later, just be patient. EME has proved to me to generally care about its customer base.

oh hell no. I want those skins instead. gold is cool, but EU gets better looking choices( they look different enough for each class) AND cosmetic items too? ( i mean the mask options) Sorry EME i want to weapon skins instead. this really pisses me off to no end.

let me reprhase this. I would rather have the non gold weapon skins than the gold ones. i appreciate the thought but at least give us a choice. Its not like the weapons skins aren't in the game regardless of where you live.

Games like allods do fine with making costume items permanent BUT tradeable.

So basically, what people are wondering/worried about is: Does the subscription Renewal date need to happen before May 31st, 2012 or do you simply need to have bought the game & setup a Subscription Plan which sets your account status to Subscribed before May 31st, 2012

The latter. You only need to purchase the game and select a subscription plan before June 1.

The Golden Dragon weapon skins will be permanent items. They will not expire.
