LMFAO... I see that most people in this thread still haven't grown out of the "I want that one cause he has it mommy" stage from when they were 7.

This complaisant type of community, is really what has been killing games, wtb communities from 5 years ago plox.


The community is the opposite of complaisant if this thread is any indicator. I suppose it's better then you trying "complaintany" or "complaintanist" I see some people haven't grown out of there early teens.

I'd say what's killing games is nothing, mmo's are more popular now then they've ever been and it's certainly not due to people who kept they're mouths shut or the elitists of old.

Waaah! We get FREE gifts for being here for tera's first month of launch but they aren't as good as we want them to be! Grow the hell up and get over yourself and your delusions of entitlement.

Uh, why shouldn't i have access to everything someone else who bought this game has access to? I like the idea of free stuff but there is no REAL reason, other than frogster being dicks, that we cannot have BOTH sets of weapon skins. im sure some people would use the gold over the other versions and vice versa. these are not physical things. these are digital items. And its also about the EU people getting 3, count em, 3!! vanity face items that we are NOT getting. Not to mention all the reqlly nice items in their version of the CE and the crap we got. gee, thanks for the lame paper map with tons of creases. And thanks for the sad exscuse for a handbook/mediocre artbook. Oh and no t-shirt. No offense but i would wear the t-shirt with no problem, just like i wore my GW t-shirt way back with no hesitation. I was going to get the CE but had a feeling it would be a bait and switch tactic on their part. I blame Atari for the most part. I wanted to frame the cloth map to be honest. like i have done with other games that have given me cloth maps as extras.

I have gone so far as to scour ebay and the internet for someone selling the EU CE for a reasonable price just so i can get the extras.

As much as I like the sound of "equality" and everything, I actually prefer what we got instead. It would be nice to have the face stuff EU got, as I'm sure many would love the eye patch, glasses and mask. As for the weapon skins, there are some that are somewhat cool (Lancer Sword and Shield, Warrior Axes, Sorc Tome), but I'd much prefer weapons that look cool all around then some that look plain. Having Archer, Priest and Mystic be boring same-old while other classes get normal-looking-yet-different-style weapons would suck for the people that play those 3 classes.



The funny thing though? The players over on the EU version of TERA's site/forum PREFER OUR VERSION BETTER! The grass is greener on the other side is such a true quote that continues to stand the test of time...

EDIT: Oh, and the only people that get EU's bonus are those that bought from their site. To my friends, GF and I that bought the CE from retailers, we'd be out of luck. I much prefer the EME offering simple because of this fact alone now.

I'm looking forward to the ceremonial look of ours but I can understand people wanting the darker looking eu ones and I can definitely understand and share the envy of the face pieces (eye patch mainly, totally badarse)

It may be a grass is greener situation for them given how badly frogstar is perceived but I wouldn't rule out actual preference entirely.

As for who's getting the items in EU it's just more evidence that we should be hugely thankful en masse is handling our localization.
